I guess it depends where you are/your circle because it’s definitely more embarrassing if you don’t have a degree.

About what exactly? Enlighten me youngster cause I'm sure anyone who was in high school back then will tell you the exact same thing. Trades were looked down upon, hell look at people's attitudes towards them now they are still looked down upon.
Nobody especially in the black communities call people stupid because they chose to get a trade.

yeah all jokes aside...my true friends consists of people with multiple degrees, people who did a year or so of trade school, and high school dropouts.

I went to college and graduated. I never really sensed any resentment. I can tell you some of my friends who graduated from school i have with them...pretty shallow convos (sports, music). One of my potnas who dropped out and works in a factory is smart as shyt....we discuss books and politics. I know it anecdotal but....

Im not on social media so i cant speak to that.
