someone help me understand these points. I thought the movie was dope. but some things bothered me.

For example, luthor (his son) seems to be the joker without the purple costume and green face paint. Some type of sadistic killer who just wants people to hurt and not think about what he's doing (Totally unlike lex).

Bruce is 43 in this movie, judging from his parents dying in 1981 (from their gravestones) and him being 8 at the time puts him at 43 in 2016.

Alfred was great but he should look a little bit older considering he should be in his late 70s 80s. He didn't look older then 55.

I don't like how doomsday was wasted as being zod and being 20 feet tall. He should've been shorter and there should've been more hand 2 hand between him and superman in my opinion.

Also how the fukk did luthor figure out bruce was batman and superman was clark kent all of a sudden. that should've been fleshed out since the movie was over 2hours long. Hadd the real luthor known this he would've used it to his advantage and made them both squirm. Instead his idiot son just wants them to kill eachother and he wants doomsday to kill everyone else.

Also if luthor had this data on WW, Cyborb, Aqauaman and flash why hasn't he found them yet and assembled them agaiinst superman. That would've been a great plot twist IMO.

How da fukk does alexander luthor know about darkside? (from zod's ship??) Shyt seems so random
This Luthor acted like Luthor... But not the Luthor of our generation. I too am used to the more laid back sinister Luthor.... They went the mad scientist with long hair route from the EARLY comics... Plus this is Lex Jr

If he returns in future movies and starts this laid back thing while being a lil bulkier I wouldn't even be mad and call it great character development

And I'm sure he knows about Darkseid due to Zod's ship telling him everything.

I have no clue how he deduced Bruce was Bats but realistically it shouldn't be too hard to figure out Clark is Superman.

He prolly hasn't found the meta humans yet because I mean, basically he probably just hasn't started attempting to find them yet

JUST CAME BACK FROM THE MOVIE :blessed:

My Review on the way

Major Praise: fukkING BATMAN !!!! :lawd:
Major complaint: CGI !!

- REVIEW -

Movie started off slow but it made sense why, explaining the aftermath of the metropolis attack and also the worlds take on Superman

the Bat lifting young bruce up was not needed tho lol, shyt was comedy status in the theatre. :mjlol: nikka twirling like he dancing on ice

Ben Affleck played BATMAN, how Batman is meant to be played, Bruce knowing HE IS Batman and that Bruce is his cover (not Nolans bull crap where the nikka aint even wanna be Batman cause some dumb bish died :scust: )

Visually, everything about Batman was AMAZING, his entrance into the Batcave was beautiful, hell the ocean view crib was too flawless, gave us the insight of what Billionaire Bruce was all about.
whoo.png

I liked how Bruce was the Batman we loved, he showed signs of PREP TIME (training and plotting to fight Supes), Knew a number of languages (Russian), COULD ACTUALLY FIGHT

Jeremy Irons was a class act, thats a suave Alfred if there ever is one, shows that he's more than a Butler but a partner who can handle himself (once again :scust: @ Nolans Alfred)

Whoever says Superman was dull and emotional is most likely a Marvel stan who thinks being emotional is tears and cracking jokes 24/7 , the nikka was upset when talking to his mom cause the world wasnt sure about him, shyt when the damn Senate hearing went off you could see the disdain and grief on his face, he knew he fukked up somehow and he was tryna fathom all the dead people..

Eisenberg.. WOW, now i see where all the complaint comes from (seems more riddler than Lex), BUT PLEASE dont let that distract you from the plans and his execution of it all, THE AUDIENCE AT MY THEATRE loved him especially his jokes, shyt he was menacing, i could hear people chattering about how scary he is...

When he sent the piss jar and ol girl was SHOOK AS fukk
merchant.png
, the whole cinema was silent, shyt was tense

Now his theme song.. WOW, HIS DAMN THEME SONG, if that didnt make him more menacing then im sorry, you just a hater.. cause that theme song when he got off his helicopter.. WOW, i was literally clapping cause shyt was just WOW..

Its funny how he never personally called himself ''LEX'' tho but addressed people to him as Alexander, so it might be a play on him not being the typical Lex we know but a variation of the alternate Earth Alexander.

''crime wave in Gotham'', ''WATER IS WET'' :mjlol: fukkING DEAD LOL

There's no reason anyone should complain about the movie being too dark, we have a Bruce who has been fighting crime for 20 years and has SEEN IT ALL, Alfred alluded to that with the constant theme of ''Good men turning Bad'' i saw it as both a play on supes and Bats, especially Bats cause this is an already established DC universe, one can come to the conclusion that Bruce was never this dark, the loss of Todd most likely pushed him over the edge, which is why he didnt seem to care about the level of brutality he handed out anymore.
smugdon.png

With Supes, here we have a newbie superhero still coming to terms with his powers, and on his inception of being great has a hand to the loss of thousands of lives, he's still coming to the terms of what he caused/ could have prevented and also how the world doesnt seem to see him as a good guy. Of course he's not gonna be cheery, give the guy a break.

It was good to see an angry Supes tho, even I felt the terror.
whew.png

NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE in the cinema was a fan of the romance between clark and lois
yawn3.png
, shyt nikkas was groaning when he sent the ring and when he stopped the fight with doomsday to save her, nikkas laughed all over when i shouted ''Let her die'' :lawd:

I think people shyt themselves in the first hallucination with the big ass Bat lol (i almost died yooooo)

I was the only one who got the Darkseid reference in the cinema smh (fukking noobs), evil supes = GOAT.. nikka fried the regime with no thought (Injustice ??)

Am i the only one who felt the Spaceship interaction with Lex was hinting at Braniac ?? the way the tentacles moved and the talk about the ship having knowledge of thousands of worlds, lol i mean.. BRAINIAC

Wonder woman was BEAUTIFUL.. i liked how they made her graceful and still showed she was a threat, she wasnt fighting doomsday to survive, bish was having fun :blessed: they made her a princess and a warrior and it worked.

Once again, I stand with my notion that DC has a sleeper with Aquaman...nothing has ever been done underwater and especially amazing.. so i think DC has a chance to own something in this CBM era, if AM is done well, i think DC willl gain an edge, Drago looked damn good

Still iffy on Flash but we'll have to see, Cyborg cant comment, was nice seeing the Motherbox in action though.

...... IN CONCLUSION

The hate the movie is getting is HIGHLY unwarranted, whatever reason you have against the movie shouldnt be anything less than 60%

VISUALLY = 8/10 (would be higher if not for that cgi cringe fest when supes got nuked :scust: )
Story line = 6.5/10 (they had A LOT of stories to tell and not enough time)
Action = 10/10 (warehouse scene = GOAT fight scene EVER !! #2 is from Winter Soldier)

overall the movie is a must see, def seeing it again, its that good.

I guess I'll post my thoughts in this thread too. Movie wasn't horrible but it wasn't that good. Man the editing was WOAT. That's what held back the first half.

It's crazy that as of right now, I rank MOS higher than BVS.

saw it again this morning and this movie is good as hell...was able to pay a lot of attention to the lil details in the movie, and it's better than I originally thought, and I liked it a lot the first time....this shyt is truly good as hell.....other lil shyt I picked up after this viewing:

- the dude that played lex did a hell of a job....the lil shyt he did to show the struggle with trying to be 1 person in public, while being another in private, just damn....and you can tell near the end of the film, he was starting to get a grasp on it and was becoming more like the established lex we know...the speech he gives to superman while on the roof, oh my damn....another example of lil shyt: him telling the senator 'she was gonna be on the hot seat' before she walked in the hearing that got bombed....that's shyt established lex would say/do.....

- speaking of the struggle with being 1 thing in public, 1 in private, that's what this whole movie is about, for most of the characters....it's about the struggle of becoming one's self...superman's struggle about being a hero....batman's struggle about being a hero....ww struggle about being apart of the world again...I mean, this movie shows a lot of that shyt in such good detail....

- to go off the last point: after seeing it again, I can see why people might not like it....while it does have action, most of the VS in the movie isn't physically conflict, it's internal or a battle of philosophies/thinking...while that is sticking to the comics and he did a hell of a job presenting it, people probably are going there to just see batman and superman physically fight....hell, heard a lil kid ask that when the movie started 'when are they gonna fight?'....even though he was a young kid, he summed up what a lot of people, including adults think going into it....

- when they show the flash footage, pay close attention....before he dealt with the gunman that was trying to rob the store, he had picked up a bottle of milk...so he went from standing there holding a bottle of milk, to getting rid of the gunman, and getting back to the bottle before it hit the ground.....that shyt is ill as hell....

- the kryptonite spear's light appearance changing depending on if any kryptonian genes were around....when they weren't, it was dull...when it was, it glowed bright...

.....seriously, zack and co put a lot of lil details in this movie I don't think people gonna appreciate/notice until they see the movie for what it is and not what they wanted......a lot of that shyt is just cool as hell...if no one else does, I do...I cant wait to see this shyt again in theaters and own the Blu-ray....

well it burned down, they showed a news clipping in it and apparently some people died in it as well. I speculated in the other thread that i think at one point, Wayne might have initiated "Knightfall protocol" like in arkham knight/ dark knight returns (its not called knight fall in this tho) and went underground.

The execution was :trash:

They waste time fighting, TIME you could of used to find her.

Terrible writing.

I expect HISOE to point this out. :mjlol:
Supes tried to get bats to help him and bats wouldn't listen. Did you not watch the movie?

Supes is kind of dumb in this universe and doesn't have the resources bats has. He knows bats can do shyt like that cause be overheard bats on coms with Alfred

The bad writing is on bats side not supes. Bats was too easily manipulated by lex. But again I think that was product of them trying to fit too much plot into this movie. Laying some of thee seeds in a batman movie prior to this one would have helped make it more coherent

Questions on Batman killing didn't he fire on the goons AKs while disarming one of them in the warehouse saving Martha Kent from the Russain Spy ?

he didn't kill anyone though....he fired the gun to empty the chip....

speaking on the killing shyt in general: I really paid close attention to his scenes to see if he was killing, and he wasnt...even when he was busting his gun in the knightmare scene, he wasn't killing dudes....he was just shooting them, hurting them...they were still moving around and shyt after he shot them....what this 'he's killing people' shyt says to me is that a lot of people didn't really pay attention to the movie...

I dunno breh, i didnt mind him snapping dudes neck in the knight mare part, but during the 18 wheeler chase, batman gave no fukks and was letting them bullets fly, dragging and exploding cars :wow:

I agree with the ware house fight tho, didnt kill any body

Na bruh..... he was definitely on that "Murda Game" and I have no problem with that.... but he killed people.

I mean that car scene alone...... he killed every guy on that speed chase..... and remember when the Batmobile flew over colliding with that truck and taking the top off? He killed one of the guys standing there.... remember it was several guys in the back of that truck and only 2 made it back alive.

Later when he went to save Martha..... he from his Batwing shot and killed all the guys on the turrets

And lastly.... with Martha.... he killed both guys in that room.... no way they survived that explosion.

I dont see it as a big deal like others may..... but he did have a body count rivaling Stallone and Arnold in the 80's:mjlol:

the dude playing lex acted his ass off....he might have the best performance in the whole movie....
I love eisenberg as lex but they didn't do a good job conveying what his motives are. Is he just a CEO trying to protect the world from aliens? Is he an anarchist trying to fukk shyt up? Is he trying to play god bent on world domination? Mix of the three?
