I thought it was stupid as shyt that batman stopped from killing supes cuz they mom has the same name. :comeon:Also that scene of all the justice League videos should have been an end credits scene.

Its more than that.. Bruce's mother although shot first died last. Bruce watched he die. she called his name as she died.. that sticks with you.. and the name just triggered something because the way Supes asked... He was like Bruce please save Martha... Bruce saw just how human Superman was in that instant .. and it probably reminded him of his dad before he died..

Dead parent memories from when you're a child are something else.. trust me .. I know...

I don't think they (people on sites) know what they want....I say that cause even when you give them what they ask for, they complain and then say they wanted something else, smh......and i'm not just talking about this movie either, in a lot of aspects of life people do that dumb shyt...
You right about that. Seems many times in life ppl want to complain for the sake of complaining. Not constructive criticism but all out complaints with no room for correction.

Now that I've read/heard a couple of reviews, I'm now thinking the Martha scene was brilliant

The Martha scene may suck to some people today but when you analyze it later on ... or break it down psychologically you'll see it was a risk that could be hit or miss..

But being a parent and having parents and a father who died when I was a child you see just how crazy names and places are to your psyche.

My father died almost 30 years ago.. yeah, I'm an old head.... and there are still certain things that because of his death doesn't freak me out anymore but still makes my heart race and makes me jump..

to give y'all a hint ... I CANT watch a train pull into a train station. I either blink or turn my head.. and my heart races as it gets closer then slows back down after it passes me

I should be seeing to tomorrow .. then I can really add on to the spoiler discussion

This is where I'm at. Folks wanted BRAINIAC or power suit Lex but that doesn't justify a Justice League.

true...although brainiac does make a great villain for the league later, it was too soon to use him as the reason to create the league....it needed to be something physical in nature...

speaking of brainiac, I like how the movie was hinting at that he was the computer on the ship feeding lex info....brainiac would be the one that knows you cant control doomsday and what he can ultimately do, so why not tell that to the overeager lex that was blinded by his goal to kill superman.....

seriously, this movie did a hell of a job setting shyt up for the future....hopefully wb/dc don't panic and let synder see it through...that man can direct action, just get others to write it....and have the balls to release the long version in theaters, not just on Blu-ray....

One of the better scenes in the movie although I guess they didn't sell it really well since so many people seemed like they didn't catch on. It's not about Martha being Bruce's mother's name as well that makes him side with Supes, it's about him realizing that Superman is far more human than he believed and has been dehumanizing everyone he faces (because he sees them as criminals/monsters, not as people).

posted this in the other thread, but i'll post it here:

one thing I've disliked so far is the lack of martian manhunter reference....I get they pushing cyborg as his replacement, but I think they really should include him....well, after the movie, I said this to the cat beside me and he said something that made me think...he said: he thinks mm is the gen/secretary dude...besides looking like him, he thought that cause of how the guy is helping lois out and how he showed concern for superman when they used the nuke...I agreed, and we both thought that would be a hell of a way to introduce the character....

what yalll think?

Zack Snyder Says Batman and Superman Are Not Like ‘Flavor of the Week Ant-Man’

zack-snyder-batman-superman.jpg

Batman and Superman aren’t typical superheroes to Zack Snyder. Aside from being the “most mythological of our superheroes,” the “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” director thinks they transcend the superhero movie genre.

Snyder took a shot at the Marvel Universe in an interview with The Daily Beast. While addressing Steven Spielberg’s comments that “there will be a time when the superhero movie goes the way of the Western,” the filmmaker said Marvel heroes are a dime a dozen.

“I feel like he’s right. But I feel like Batman and Superman are transcendent of superhero movies in a way, because they’re Batman and Superman,” Snyder said while promotingDoritos’ final Super Bowl filmmaking contest. “They’re not just, like, the flavor of the week Ant-Man — not to be mean, but whatever it is. What is the next Blank-Man?”

He also discussed whether “Batman v Superman” will feature more screen time with Batman than Superman.

“Only in that because it’s a different Batman than the Batman that was in the Chris Nolan movies, so we have a little bit more explaining to do and you just had a whole Superman movie,” he said. “But I think only in that way, because you need to understand where Batman is with everything. And that’s more toward the beginning, but it evens back out as it goes on.”

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters on March 25, 2016

:ohhh: That would be a dope reveal even if those seeds are a reach. There were many nods to future plans so that may be a more discreet one.

Did Joe Morton say where that pulsating cube thing was from on the Cyborg recording? I was opening my Reese's Pieces bag and I didn't hear whether he did or not.

But that's to much like the MM character as depicted on Supergirl... but you never know
You'll have to excuse my ignorance. Have yet to see an episode of the show. Just thought it would have been cool to have a true reveal most didn't see coming. How did they work him in to the supergroup show?
