Baroness (Red album) and Neurosis (Through Silver in Blood) might creep into my top 20 before the years end. I wanna replace Leviathan with Mastodon's Remission on that list though. I've been on sludge/post metal hard lately.

Mainly thrash metal, but I been on Opeth, Isis, Agalloch, Tool, Porcupine Tree, Meshuggah, In Flames, Darkthrone, Emperor a lot lately. A pretty mixed bag. Opeth been dominating the playlist, though...

I'm open to just about anything
I can go from listening to Sun O)))) to Mastodon
to AAL.
I'm also looking to increase my knowledge on metal in general.
In my own personal "collection", I've got some slayer, metallica, meshugga, gojira,
system of a down, opeth, korn, Linkin Park, Animals As Leaders, Black Sabbath etc.
So I'd say I'm open to a lot of different sounds, new and old.

That new Wold is pretty good if you can handle it (I'm assuming 99.9% of you won't be able to. Outside of metal forums I've never met anybody that can stomach this type of music. I love it though).

So far I'm not liking it as much as Kentucky (I'm about half-way through the album). I kinda miss that social commentary. It's still good though. I'm gonna definitely give this some spins. I expect it to grow on me

I fukk with metal more than I fukk with any other genre. I like doom, sludge and black metal the best

I'm currently listening to the new Triptyicon, Stoneburner, Origin, Mounrful Congregation, Mayhem, Lycus (not really new, but my favorite Doom band of all last year), Indian (this shyt is amazing...very inaccessible though), eyehategod, down, and that new agalloch


I'll just put that Indian out there cuz I love it so much
