But there young boys trying to tell me Cube fell off after 93 because he got "old". Every time we brought up how adult/mature his content had gotten on his last 3 solo albums

Younger posters wanted to act like they either didn't see what we were saying or they didn't listen to his last 3 albums.

It's a struggle for mature artists period. Even the fans gravitate too what the 15 year olds are listening too...

It is partially because he is old though. Not in the sense his body has gone down hill like an athlete but because hes too old to truly relate then tries to run off to do things like the younger generation. It feels forced like when an old man tries to use slang that hasn't been used since the 80s (that's funky fresh!) Not to mention all old Hip Hop artists are caught in this limbo area where their old school fans want them to keep making their first album over and over or face alienating them vs just not being able to get a foothold with the younger generation because you are rapping like Big Bank Hank on Sugarhill Gang to them.

His content on his albums haven't really been all that immature. His last biggest single was 'gangsta rap made me do it' and that's speaking on influence of the culture and people not raising their kids right in this generation. He still has some solid content. That just aren't nearly as hard, in your face, and ruthless (pardon the pun) as he once was. The fire of a young angry kid is one thing. Being a guy whos been a millionaire for damn near two decades is another.

And he got a college degree

It's clear to anybody with comprehension and understanding there is a culture of dumbing down within society, that is prevalent within Hip Hop too. It's like how they used to not permit the slaves to read, cause they know knowledge is power. They even tried to have other things in the jail system in the hope people wouldn't read and awaken in jail like that lol. Don't want more Malcolm X's lol.

Sound like chuck worried about how white people perceive us:stopitslime:

I wonder do he feel like he buck dancing when he look out into the crowd whenever he perform and see the majority of his fans are white?:ohhh:

somebody need to tell chuck that if every black person acted like him, we still would get looked at in a negative light..cacs hated us since the slavery days..so fukk what they think about us..

And i agree that it is a lot of adults living and trying to act young, but it aint just us..look at all these cac teachers fukkin they students for example,lol..

And besides that, at least the adults arent on crack,at least not to the degree they was on back when he was relevant..

Point is, shyt aint all good, but it ain't as bad as it use to be for black folks, and talking about all the negative shyt dont really help change shyt either..

I didn't say that, what I said is the PRINCIPLE still applies. Of selling out and doing something damaging and detrimental for self benefit still applies. A lot of this shyt is akin to mental slavery anyway, and certainly exploitation, which was aspects of slavery itself too.

Yes you do that, and I will.

I have to now buy my assistant new heels because she rushed in here to check I was okay ....... the way I fell off my chair reading this

I'm looking at some of the threads now and I was correct it was you Cynic...

That's the difference, you have a complete lack or morals, righteousness and integrity. So clearly you would be supportive of the sellout Judas approach.

I wouldn't be able to buy and sell companies/real estate without morals and integrity breh....... nice try though try something better than

"Jay's music is slavery..C'mon Jay and Let me free "

Not interested in your stories.

Well that's bullshyt for 1, it's self explanatory why. Lots of evil ruthless people have bought and sold companies.

A lot of big ass gifs, no substance, never said that, making shyt up....

But would you DID do is defend threats of rape against women.

You seem to care an awful lot because you consistently @ or quote me or interacting with posts about me while I haven't been about you at all lol. Nah, I'm talking about what you been doing consistently since the last time, I didn't interact with you or about you in ANY way until you started again talking shyt about me lol. You can lie if you want but you know full well you been in other threads talking about me prior to this, several times, or are you going to lie about that too?, Lmao, yeah so a person who doesn't think about you, @ you or talk about you is obsessed with YOU lol. Doesn't even make sense. You clearly were hurt that you got exposed before and people still mention it to you today lol. I don't get why you so mad, this about Chuck D not your petty childishness.

"I don't care what any of y'all listen to, or what any rapper says.. whatsoever.."

This is a quote from you from this thread, you don't care what any rapper says? Why are you on a Hip Hop forum then? Lol. And you don't care or want to discuss what people listen to or anything like that either? So just why are you here and why are you so upset some people do wanna talk about music and have discussions? Why did you act bitter and negative when someone simply tagged you? It wasn't an insult, if you don't want to be tagged why are you a mod? You've done this before with @Iron Chin Wilder when he made a simple user enquiry, Cole Cash who called you out for not doing what you're supposed to and your negativity/bullshyt and @2meo I've seen you talking shyt about too. You are so arrogant, this isn't about you, just chill, low the negativity and just move on with your life, I've said to you several times, don't talk about me, I won't talk about you, it's very simple. There's no need for us to communicate at all, but don't try take slick sly shots at me consistently and expect me not to say something cause that isn't happening. I would suggest you move on and let us keep having the discussion, it's up to you either way, but it's pointless and a waste of time.

He's a coward. He constantly talks shyt about me to other posters in threads and PM's but whenever I quote or call him out on it he disappears from the thread or suddenly has something 'more important' to do. I can tell it's not modding the booth as all I ever see him do is fukk with G-Unit stans and gossip about aliases. Then when you learn he's over 40 years old and spent his entire life c00ning to impress his skater friends who constantly disrespected him you just have to laugh :pachaha: This board provides him a form of escapism from his pathetic shytty life, I've come to realize is the only reason he's even here.

you wanna dress young and hip

I scust at this do but hey - I understand it. It's hard out there...if you broke in your 20s or 30s...and you see your fav rapper doin it...then declining...and you start makin money...well fukk, you ain't gonna let it slide even if you're 40

Those types of dudes will glorify all kinds of young dude music (Chief Keef's the shyt! See me do the Shmurda dance yo) and they'll shyt on anything "old"...they wanna be young again.

I understand it. It is pathetic, but I get it.

some people actually care about their integrity and artistry

I'm the one of those people who can only say :mjlol: and :banderas: to that kind of statement.

i mean, in that article, people are accusing PE of beeing too old when chuck was only 34.

This is a problem with American society as a whole. It's just something else hip-hop just latched onto. People are "old" at 30 and washed up. Then who the fukk are these kids supposed to look up to? 23 year old knuckleheads?

Maturity in Hip-Hop ain't cool because that means that a lot of shyt (excessive partying, use of drugs, etc) has to cease. Now, the young cats of today are on the dumb scale on the extreme end.
