You woulda really laughed if that album trailer was still on Youtube and I put it on here... I was lookin' at that shyt like :comeon: "really?...really?"

I got stories on top of stories about rapper friends cause I used to do music myself. So of course I knew other rappers, or nikkas who wanted to rap.

Ohhhh! I knew a dude from high school who was TERRIBLE. And kinda like your boy, he's watchin' BET all day talkin' bout Nas, DMX, The Lox, Mase, Mobb Deep, Wu, shyt even Timbaland & Magoo... but at least them nikkas could rhyme on beat. This nikka used to write some of the most huff shyt I ever heard to this day, and then you hear him rap over a beat :mindblown: If you ever saw Elaine on 'Seinfeld' doing the "Elaine dance", that's the equivalent of his flow. I'm laughin' just typin' about it right now. Homie couldn't even catch a beat, but he turned into Siskel & Ebert whenever Rap City was on. nikka... :snooze:

I'm havin' too much fun in this thread... my God, this shyt got me rollin' just thinkin' about it.

aww man.

im remember more stuff now.

he would always have a "release date" for his tapes.:wtf: im like :comeon: people in your own neighborhood dont even know that you rap.

AND HOW COULD I FORGET ABOUT THE DOCUMENTARY THAT HE WAS PUTTING TOGETHER?:snoop: he actually got himself a camera man and they took a road trip all the way out to some town in the midwest like wisconsin or something. and i still dont know why, but i never bothered to ask, cuz that was after i tried to talk some sense into him. at that point, i realized that i should avoid commenting on situations like this concerning wack friends & family members.

i know it had to hurt his little heart when he realized that i didnt respect his "craft". people tend to hold my music opinions in high-regard. one of my biggest regrets in life in terms of non-important issues.

what really takes the cake is how he makes open-ended statements that allow him to front like hes a real rapper. like with a buzz.

i remember he was one of the 1st people that O.D'd on the CD-R rapper start-up kit craze. not saying that it wasnt around for years, but im talking about when it got way outta hand and became an epidemic within the past decade. yall feel me? he had his little album cover and hundreds of copies printed out like it was nothing.

i couldnt get mad tho, cuz i used to get a kick out of how he used to front for the chicks working in stores that we frequented. he would give them copies. next thing you know, we walk in the store one day and you hear one of them say "thats the rapper". lol. they prolly didnt even listen to the chit, but they prolly assumed that he was some type of underground phenom or something. he had a punchers chance at smashing something just off the strength of that. you gotta luv it.:obama:

Exactly :laff: I'm listenin' like :mjpls: nikka, how the FUKK did you fall ALL THE WAY off the beat, catch the gotdamn snare.

After a while, I just started bein' straight up about it cause I didn't fukk w/ him like that anyway. Yo would get on his rap critic shyt and I'd be like "yeah well... least Busta Rhymes can stay on the beat". :manny: Eventually, he started talkin' like "while you stay in BMore bein' a local MC, I'll be on TRL gettin' money" :russ: Safe to say, that nikka never even touched a stage in this city, let alone TRL.

^^:heh:

now that i think about it, i didnt even give my own opinion, initially. i was giving his cds out to people and the feedback that was given was always :childplease:. i told him about the feedback and gave some suggestions. i guess he figured i felt the same about his music because i rarely ever bobbed my head to his chit. then he and our other cousin(who pats him on the back) started teaming up against me until i basically snapped and said "look man, your chit is wack".

but he obviously listened to my suggestions cuz he changed all that chit up on his other tapes. he denies it tho and says "i do all types of songs". we know the truth tho.....besides, hes still wack, just now hes somewhat tolerable for at least 20 minutes.

I guess I was the friend who tried to rap to some people... but I was actually tryin' to make moves and go somewhere with it... and nothin's wrong with that (at least if you got talent). But a lot of dudes I knew would rap and talk about "gettin' on" but didn't even wanna leave their house with it, and weren't that good in the first place. How you havin' "release dates" and "release parties" when the shyt ain't bein' released anywhere but your livingroom :laff:

Man I got a cousin who is around my age, like 33 or so who say sending me mass text to come c her sing. Mind u, I haven't heard from her in like 10 yrs otherwise and the only reason she got my # is due to her sister giving it to her like a year or so ago when I saw her. And yeah I checked out her music on MySpace :snoop: and it's still :noah: status :smh: I be wanting to respond to her mass text to lose my # if ur just gonna spam me like that, but I can't bring myself to do so.
