I know a dude that recently pressed up CDs and had a book made about his album... a book, brehs. Like how they do the XXL articles 'nshyt breaking down each song? Yeah, like that. And then, had an "album release party" at his house that like 15 people showed up to.You would think someone other than our circle of friends knew about this album's existence.
I mean, more power to him, it's somethin' he clearly cared about... but all this for an album that 25 people TOPS have heard... it's hard to not be like
And I understand firsthand what it is to love makin' music and do things for your own reasons. But all that propaganda and hype and Youtube trailersfor nobody but a bunch of people who are damn near obligated to like it was about the silliest shyt I'd ever heard of.
And it's funny cause he used to clown other local rappers for only making music their friends and family give a fukk about. And I'm thinkin' "breh...this album and all the shyt surrounding it is the epitome of what you crack jokes about other nikkas for".

I remember when I had this dude I hanged out with. He was recording mad shyt and rapping all off beat and sounding like he high all the time. His flow was weaker than Immortal Technique, but thought that he could get a record deal at Def Jam like some 90s shyt.

And kinda like your boy, he's watchin' BET all day talkin' bout Nas, DMX, The Lox, Mase, Mobb Deep, Wu, shyt even Timbaland & Magoo... but at least them nikkas could rhyme on beat. This nikka used to write some of the most huff shyt I ever heard to this day, and then you hear him rap over a beat
If you ever saw Elaine on 'Seinfeld' doing the "Elaine dance", that's the equivalent of his flow. I'm laughin' just typin' about it right now. Homie couldn't even catch a beat, but he turned into Siskel & Ebert whenever Rap City was on. nikka...
