You nikkas don't watch enough boxing if you don't see how talented Broner is. Him and Spence are like neck and neck with talent. The only difference is Spence is more committed to the sport. He's not an emcee, promoter, doesn't engage in fukkery or the streets either. Spence is truly all about boxing.

Broner hasn't been focused like Spence has since the Demarco fight..

I watch a lot of boxing actually......although I think there are people on this board who are much more knowledgeable than me.

I think broner is talented but I never felt like he was that great at making adjustments. He seems to have one set way of fighting and that's seemed to do him in. Look at his fight against Porter for example.....I know porter is a guy who no one looks great against but still, that was a poor performance.

At some point you have to stop making excuses for his lack of focus. He's tried to get focused, he's met with Floyd and worked with him, and he still hasn't looked great in recent bouts.

You also missed the entire point dude was making in terms of broner's personality and talent

Broners got talent but I dont think his skills are elite, I think he falls a little short of that. Maidana busted him up and nearly knocked him out

Broners not as disciplined as Floyd, I dont think his reflexes are elite. I dont think his hand speed is elite. Hes not as focused and disciplined through a 12 round fight, he has lapses.

If Spence is as good as I think he is (time will tell) then I dont think Broners skills are neck and neck with his. Spence for a multitude of reasons is better then Broner

Looking at the IBF rankings for Spence's mandatory defense and :hhh:. I would rather see Collazo get the look since he's coming off a big win and has a name but knowing the IBF is strict with the rankings i guess it will be this Ocampo dude. I'm saying this knowing Thurman isn't fighting no time soon and Spence will want to stay sharp.

This guy struggled with Gavin Reese......I truly doubt that Spence would have had nearly as much trouble with Reese that Broner had.

Dude didn't make a point to me. Spence is talented and focused. Broner is talented an unfocused. Saying Broner is unfocused isn't an excuse. It's just the reality of the situation he puts himself in.

Spence has a good personality to be a star in the sport if he stays active and makes the right fights. It's just that lot of people equate personality to fukkery. These nikkas ain't outgoing and constantly into different shyt like Broner so it doesn't catch the casual eye.

Swift is a star and has a good personality too, he's always doing meet and greets, club appearances and all types of shyt to keep his name buzzing, but unlike Broner he doesn't engage in fukkery antics. Dude is just chill as fukk.

Broner never been great with adjustments, but that's a skill limitation. That has nothing to do with talent or focus. Plenty of boxers, can't make adjustments and will just fight harder when the going gets tough.

Both are talented, one just decided to work harder and focus more with their talent. Biggest difference between Zab and Floyd. Floyd worked a lot harder while being slightly less talented than Zab.

The talent gap ain't that big between those 2, ditto for Spence and Broner. Work ethic is what really separates these nikkas.

Why is Broner even being brought up in this thread?
Spence is much better. Broner has shown time and time again, he is nothing special. Give it up with that guy already

I agree. Broner looked super lethal at 135, but his work ethic was trash. Broner should have been arguably one of the top guys @ 140-147.
