That’s not how any of that works other than using an elevator
And that’s if you don’t have a private one. I’m not even in a penthouse and 70% of the time, I’m in the elevator alone.
A trash chute is literally steps from your door no matter what floor you’re on. You can take the trash out at any time regardless of the weather. Convenient.
Because you live so close to everything, you don’t need to buy tons of groceries for multiple hauls. There’s likely a convenience store downstairs that is part of the amenity package. I had a full grocery store (Treasure Island) downstairs when I lived at the Playboy Building. There’s a Target downstairs in my building now. Even if you had tons of groceries, concierge will have a cart ready for you to use if they don’t bring it up themselves. Convenient.
If you are in the penthouse, you don’t have neighbors on the other side of a wall or above you. Maybe another penthouse on the other side of the building at the most. And buildings that have penthouses on their top floors are better buildings than the usual. Meaning concrete walls and floors and you don’t hear shyt.
Everyone keeps saying “balcony” but if you are in the penthouse, you should have a terrace. These are usually the size of a typical apartment (several hundred sqft). There’s plenty of room to grill. You can do that with a balcony. Terraces in a penthouse can be used to host parties. Comparable to party space a backyard gives as home.
And parking is assigned. No one can take your spots. Valet knows where car is supposed to go. Any car parked there that isn’t yours will be automatically towed. Some garages have gated parking spots inside for the premium owners/renters for even more protection so no one can take your assigned parking spots. When I lived at the Trump, they provided you with a complimentary house car. A chauffeur will take you anywhere within a 2mi radius of the building (if available) free to residents for any reason.
The pictures OP posted aren’t even penthouses. Just regular hi rise condos with regular amenities.
