qb drops back 20 yards... will get them roasted, send your ends/outside lb's who pressure the qb wide..

dropping back de's to safety.... make sure you have a draw play on deck make em pay early for dropping back, you can also scramble to that side they abandoned., de's are generally too slow to keep up with most wr's anyway, and have poor change of direction skills to be a safety...

for every cheese play online theres a counter.. only thing i hated was the rocket catch from last year..

I believe if you look under the "my madden" tab there is an option to download the latest rosters.

Yes there is but it shouldn't be necessary. I should be able to simply edit the vikings roster and cut McNabb.

Part two is that the ratings of a lot of players is wrong...and you can't touch that.

And don't get me wrong...I've never complained about Madden until this year. I swallowed and made the best of other bugs and fukk ups...but to remove Franchise which has always been a part of Madden!

So you want to start a franchise with up to date rosters or you want to be able to be able to edit your week 17 opponents roster so it would be identical to the real life roster?

If you want the latter I really don't see why you playing franchise anyway,just update your rosters and play exhibition games cause you missing the whole point of franchise mode

I don't even see how that could be fun not allowing the CPU teams to control their own rosters

EA will probably give in and allow the edits, but I totally agree with what you said. On one hand, cats want shyt to be "real", but want to be unrealistic and do cornball shyt AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!!

Teams just cut down to 75 Monday I think and madden released a roster update yesterday

When teams cut down to 53 another update will drop

I had no idea McNabb was even on the vikes cause soon as I popped the game in yesterday it told me my roster was out of date and downloaded the update.This is why I'm guessing he's not a gold member cause he wouldn't be complaining about his petty shyt if he was

all you gotta do is select connected careers and play offline as a coach = regular franchise mode.

If your into editing players then dont buy the game, because looks like they stripped the mode of all editing and customization (and i understand why in integrating online with offline it would be tough to control player editing).


That being said, i think its the best Madden since 10 (mainly because i play online franchise). The CC mode is actually kinda deep once you get the feel for it, and im feeling the twitter feed thing with the college player story lines and team story lines, it gives the mode some personality.

The Gameplay is pretty tight, haven't ran into too many glitches yet, i know there will be some though.


The one thing i dont like is how easy it is to trip over your own players, and the new physics engine is kinda weird sometimes. Like when a Runner gets tackled sometimes his arms are in weird positions, like behind his back with the ball in one hand....

but overall im impressed with it and ive been playing pretty steady since Early Release.
