I was digging the gameplay on the demo and was thinking about buying it new for the first time since 05. Aw well
Every year you see more and more posters who had no intentions of buying Madden entering threads saying "oh whats his name didnt like it?... thanks dude you saved me $60"

as for franchise mode? You cant have a career AND play franchise mode offline against fake ppl with fake players (eventually)

In previous versions...you can simply edit the player how you need.
They took ALL control away from you. You can't edit anything about a player and you only control YOUR team.
I attempted play as the Jaguars and our first game is against the Vikings. Son they had McNabb as the Vikings qb. In other years, no problem, I'd just edit the Vikings roster real quick. Not in this years! I'm stuck playing a Vikings team that has McNabb as qb.
People who won't mind this game are the people who aren't really into simulation. The game doesn't have to look and play real to them. The same type folk who if you play online against play what I term "nikka ball". Never punt, even if they're on their own 5. QB drops back 20 yards when it's a 3 step drop...., be walking their DE back as safeties
....I can't play that online crap. I like real football...
You like real football but you want to be able to edit the attributes of your players and your opponents
And what's wrong with McNabb being on the vikes qb?
They obviously didn't like what they had and they went out and got another qb,ain't that the whole point of a franchise? To improve and try to win?
You shouldn't be able to fukk with their roster IMO that's just cheating/cheesing
I never edited players or tried to place certain players on a team so that shyt don't bother me at all
I like the fact you cant fukk with the cpu teams and try and stack the deck in your favor
Now you got to really build a team instead if just editing they shyt to make everybody on your squad nice

That shyt is NFL head coach,franchise mode,and superstar mode all combined in one
If you want to play franchise mode just choose a coach and if you want superstar mode pick a player
I simmed thru about 7 years yesterday just to see how it was and it's crack
They put in alot of little storylines and shyt like a player might retire then a year later you hear about him making a comeback
There other shyt too but I won't spoil it for y'all but you'll definitely have theface
I like how you can progress players now too.6th and 7th round picks can actually develop into great players unlike years past
I had a WR go from a 58 to a 80 in 3 years
In past maddens dude would've been like a 62 after 3 years and never seen the field but now it's up to you who you want to develop on your team and it's not about who has the highest potential rating anymore
I'm telling yall just give it a chance,it's the best career mode I've ever seen in a game IMO

Is CC basically a franchise? Is it COMPLETELY non-editable? I aw someone saying you can edit if you do an 1-team online CC.

lol... if they don't punt make em pay, play tight zone or man up press and send the house if you got the personnel..
qb drops back 20 yards... will get them roasted, send your ends/outside lb's who pressure the qb wide..
dropping back de's to safety.... make sure you have a draw play on deck make em pay early for dropping back, you can also scramble to that side they abandoned., de's are generally too slow to keep up with most wr's anyway, and have poor change of direction skills to be a safety...
for every cheese play online theres a counter.. only thing i hated was the rocket catch from last year..

Choosing a coach in CC = franchise mode
Far as editing I don't know if you can edit your own team,I haven't tried but I'm 100% sure you can't fukk with the CPU teams

Breh, these cats don't understand how deep this shyt is. Its an automatic cop because of the new presentation alone . Guys gnna miss out just because they wanna turn their favorite guys rating too 99, or cuz there rival teams is making great trades and tryna win. Prolly the same nikkas who thought 2k11 was garbage. Breh you totally missing the point. The vikings cut mcnabb last year!!!! Why the fuk is he on the roster? madden always fukked up like this so you either had to download an updated roster or make the updates yourself
Lol whats the problem with downloading the roster updates? And didn't he get cut after madden 12 already came out? Is he on this years roster? I haven't checked.
