i bought the game at Target, and i was sitting down reading the coli. found this thread, and as soon as i read that they completely fukked up franchise and you can't edit shyt in CC, i took it to customer service and returned the shyt. god damn ridiculous. it was the the first madden i purchased since 2007, i figured i might as well give it a whirl, might be fun. but no. instead, this is the worst year a person could buy madden. i was even willing to look past the no draft classes thing. 
@ anyone defending this terrible bullshyt. i don't give a fukk how many changes they put in and how much work they would need to get Connected Career to function like the old Franchise mode. when it's a STAPLE of the game, you KEEP IT. god damnit, WHEN is the exclusive NFL license expiring? can't keep doing this shyt. i need my fix, and i can't deal with this low-grade shyt EA is putting out yearly.

You buggin, OS is the best site for sports gaming, period. You rarely see sheepish behaviour on there and these nikkas know their games/sports and expect them to go hand in hand. Nothing wrong with that. They also provide the best custom options (roster/sliders) for games compared to anywhere on the net. Dope site.
This no editing shyt is garbage. I don't like playing sports games online because of the fukkery and I rathe rplay offline franchise/association modes with custom options to play a realistic game. EA crazy if they think imma finally cop a madden after years of passing em up to not be able to get it to play how i want.

Wtf. I'm commissioner for one of these connected careers online. And I can edit everything from last year and more. You have to select coach to have fullcontrol

Yeah they really fukked this years up. I actually like the gameplay this year too but I came home last night with it to only end up sitting there for like 10 minutes searching for franchise mode. So I'm in that CC bullshyt and I'm playing a season but me and my brother usually do the offline franchise and fantasy drafts and this fukked up everything. I need my football fix but this shyt I wouldn't pay more than $20 for. fukk EA.

I was digging the gameplay on the demo and was thinking about buying it new for the first time since 05. Aw well
I dont understand why they keep removing and adding things seemingly at random. If you make a mode one year that people seem to like why not just keep pushing it forward at least in its current form and then make additions to it in a future version if you can?
Isn't franchise mode under connected careers now?
