Y'all are trolling, or are very stupid.
6 divided by 2(1+2)
=6 divided by 2(3)
=6 divided by 6
=1
If the answer was 9, it have been written like (6/2)(1+2) originally.
The PEMDAS method is classic and I think it changed with Common Core. I will give the benefit of the doubt that some of y'all are not from the U.S.A. and may have different notation. But if you Are American and never were in school with Common Core, and you got this wrong, you need to sue to school system responsible for educating you.
Negged.I get what youre saying but operating from left to right is important once all the operations are level.
That would mean after youve taken care of whats in the parenthesis, 6÷2(3) are level. Within each of these steps, you go from left‐to‐right. So starting from left and ending right as PEMDAS dictates means 6÷2=3. Then 3(3) = 9.
nikkas are so dumb they won't even listen6÷2(1+2) = 9
6÷(2(1+2)) = 1
It's pretty much just to troll people
a lot of yall are getting caught on the 6/2 part, I think it would become a lot more clear to you if it was written the way it should be which is 6 over 26 / 2 (1+2) = 6 / 2 × 3 = 6 / 6 = 1
So, answer is 1
What is 6 over 2 times 3?Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally, nikkas
It's 1
