Didn't think it'd get reviews like this but I'm sure it'll still make a good chunk of change. They've already announced a sequel.

Superman Returns was supposed to have a sequel too called "Man of Steel" but Time Warner didn't like the Luke warm response the movie received and opted not to go that route with the Superman Franchise. Most blockbuster movie contracts are usually 3 film deals. If the films are successful then the studio will option to do another one; if not they will dead it with the quickness like Superman Returns and After Earth etc.

Anyway the bad reviews and press don't mean nothing to me I am still going to see the movie and make my own judgment. Most of the movies I like usually get bad reviews, lol.

RT is trash. Why do you people even use or care about that site.

At RT After Earth is at 12% or something and I LIKED the movie....

These so called critics cry about too much action in Super Man but jizzed their panties over Avengers which had no real story and was just a bunch of random action scense...

Whatever.

I will watch this flick and most likely enjoy it.

Too much "action" can get suffocating and borderline boring if its not done right or drags on and on.

example: Transformers 3

yea but that action was borely directed and didn't look good

terrible designs for the robots, too many human beings involved in a battle they have no place being in, shyt was terrible

people don't realize action is art, saying things like too much action is like saying a movie has too much dialogue. If the action sucks, it sucks, just like if dialogue is terrible its just terrible

my favorite movie is glengary glen ross and it only has 3 locations in the entire movie, but the acting/dialogue is interesting and doesn't matter.

Good action has to be directed, I can watch a movie of all action has long as it looks good

every other superman movie has been shytted on for not having action
now its here and its too much, get real. You want him saving cats from trees, lifting up automobiles while winking at the milkman, fukk all that shyt.

Well that's what the critics are saying, it wasn't 'good' directed action that just drags on and on for over an hour. :manny:

But since I want to see Superman being Superman, i'm sure i'll be entertained.

Mindless action in a comic book movie? Maybe you fail to realize that the plot for this feature film is a Kryptonian coming to earth to kill Superman....... How many Superman comics have you read friend. You arent one of us. Stop pretending.

Yeah, mindless action in a comic book movie. Sounds like you have undeveloped taste, friend. Maybe you should stick to WildCATS and other generic 90s comics if you're just looking for that kind of thing.

And I know the plot for the movie- they just recycled the plot from Superman II.

I rarely if ever pay attention to critics ratings. Just cause they cant enjoy some movies and shyt on them doesn't mean I won't give a movie a chance.

I've never cared for :cape: most all his movies are trash. I won't be surprised if this one continues the tradition.

Too much "action" can get suffocating and borderline boring if its not done right or drags on and on.

example: Transformers 3
:snoop: ....... *takes deep Breath*....... You can sit here with a straight face and tell me from an action standpoint that those TF movies did replicate the same type of action that you saw in the cartoons. Mindless action FOH, its a movie about a cartoon based on a kids toy, it wasnt supposed to be story line driven, your crazy for thinking that....... back to topic, too much action in a superhero movie is about the worst critique i have ever heard, like I said fukk a RT and the people who agree with them

On RT, the non-critic rating for this movie is almost the same as the critics' rating. The public feels mostly the same way about the movie as the critics do.

It's too early to get a fair opinion on what the public thinks, those are the comic book nerds that are nitpicking everything that is slightly different.. I bet that user rating goes up over the weekend.

Problem coli nikkas be worse than rt nikkas at times when reviewing movies. They hate literlly every movie some of which they haven't even seen. :shaq2:

yea it's like they work for them or something.

The Dark Knight, Avengers and Spider-Man 2 are 3 movies that are 90% + on RT,are they boring movies nobody gives a fukk about now ?:usure:

I'm still checking this movie out but it could be possible that its just a bad movie. People acting like these critics have some kind of agenda against action movies, shyt Fast and Furious 6 has 72% on RT :heh:
Fast 6 should be higher than 72% thats the shyt im talking about. I bet half of those reviewers arent a fan of the franchise, so it is expected for them not to like it. and if they gave spiderman 2 a 90 what did the give TAS cuz that was a way better movie

I never understood why people put so much stock in Super Hero movies having to have a Godfather'esque type of dialouge. They critique it based on all the reason we DON'T go to see these movies for. Give me explosions, epic fight scenes, cities blowing up, Superman f*ckin Lois...

:blessed: F*ck the critics, I'll decide for myself tonight. Based on what I've seen so far, the fans love it, the critics wish Lois was "more developed"

:pacspit: go watch the f*ckin Notebook.
