Batman Begins was way better than TDKR but mostly because Nolan did'nt try to do too much in BB and it's hard to fukk up Batmans origin.
- Bruce Wayne witnesses his parents get gunned up and clapped quick
- Bruce resolves to travel the world in order to master everything ever, so that he can return to Gotham City (the cesspool of crime in America) and avenge his parents death.
- He becomes a masked vigilante, with his activities funded by his massive fortune and the experimental but often extremely capable and usable products created by his company.
- His base of operations is a cave under his massive mansion. All items he uses in this war on crime are Bat-themed, even his alter ego, Batman, which has become his actual persona as the persona Bruce Wayne died that night in the alley when he witnessed his parents death.
It is really...really hard to fukk up Batman. The problem was when Nolan tried to tweak OTHER shyt, as well as adding realism to a fictional comic book based world.
- Killing Ra's Al Ghul, a character that does not die
- Killing off Two Face, a major character in Batmans rogues gallery, and then letting Batman take the fall when the cops could have easily explained that it was all the Joker
- Making Bane really just the henchman of Talia Al Ghul and not the superpowed criminal mastermind that he really is in the comics
- Making a Gotham City but allowing it to have enough peace that Bruce Wayne could stop being Batman for more than 24 hours
When you try to do too much in comic book movies you will fukk it up.
