Quentin Tarantino also talked about this. Theatres were blocking Hateful Eight because Disney had them playing SW in too many rooms or some shyt.

That's a sound business decision to me....More people were gonna go see Star Wars simply off the fact that it was PG13 and not rated R. Theaters want as many butts in the seats as possible.

Number 1 movie in the country 3 weekends in a row..... which isn’t something to dismiss.

Domestically at about $250M which not a lot of films can do.

don’t know why you thought it would flop breh. But it’s been making its money during the week. Kids were on break. Holiday and family time etc so it’s reaped the benefits of time off.
