I don't know of any off record beef or any back stories. But I know Gotti made beef "public" on his cd "life" when he said "king of memphis you trippin give me the crown" and then repeated it and as anybody who knows who bumped 3-6 knows Paul calls himself the "King of Memphis"

But again I'm not gonna speak on any "street beef" they have cause I don't know, but this is laughable at best, 3-6 held memphis down for a good 13 years, has platinum and gold records out the ying yang produced for alot of artist won a grammy, what has Gotti done the music tip to even pale in comparison?

Yes 3-6 is :flabbynsick: but it's not like Yo Gotti doing anything major either. Dude didn't even know his last album got released.

3-6 did it their way, made their own sound blew it up, Gotti is another trap rapper in a huge pot of other trap rappers

ball and G are still the kings/best thing to come out of Memphis
While I agree , that as far a rapping and lyric wise Ball n G are the best to come out of Memphis in that aspect, I can't agree that they are the "kings" or best thing, imo they did nothing to bring any kind of national spot light to the city, and let's face it these 2 dudes are probably in their earley forties and are still getting passed around label to label.

The way their career is going wouldn't be suprising if they were to sign to young money/cash money records.

Ball and G are legends in Memphis and everyone who has been mentioned in this thread will tell you the same.

They always repped their hood (Orange Mound) instead of Memphis as a whole.

Gotti and 3-6 beef has nothing to do with rap.

And for those who don't know....Lord Infamous and Playa Fly are the 2 best spitters to come out of Memphis.

Yo Gotti was my favorite rapper from like 2008-mid 2011.

At some point he lost most of his appeal to me -- but I still bump all his old material. LFTK sucked, but that was not his fault.....even January 10, besides Got Dem Racks, was nothin special to me neither. I used to anticipate the hell out of his features, now I feel like he aint even bringing anything special (most recently: his verse on Gucci's tape). 2 years ago, it'd be hot, but he's run outta stuff to talk about it seems :sadcam:. At least Jeezy knows how to switch up what hes talking about.

Starlito done outshined the boss man, simple as that. The label fukked Gotti up from being the next "trap rapper" to make it by not pushing him harder -- or droppin LFTK at the height of 5 star/Women Lie Men Lie. I mean dude had Wale, J. Cole and Wiz Khalifa on a remix when they were all blowin up.
