While I agree , that as far a rapping and lyric wise Ball n G are the best to come out of Memphis in that aspect, I can't agree that they are the "kings" or best thing, imo they did nothing to bring any kind of national spot light to the city, and let's face it these 2 dudes are probably in their earley forties and are still getting passed around label to label.

The way their career is going wouldn't be suprising if they were to sign to young money/cash money records.

And Juicy signed to Wiz after winning an Oscar....so what

That King of Memphis shyt DJ Paul say he the King but Gotti really running shyt out there not Three Six Gotti the King of Memphis.

Gotti went in on Touchdown
Yo Gotti - Touchdown (Official Video) - YouTube

Plus I hear they been hating on Gotti when he was on the come up

Touchdown was tough when it came out, I used to bang it daily.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

I'm not a Yo Gotti fan but :damn: he really is the King of Memphis right now. When I went to Beale Street Musical Festival he had a bigger crowd than Al Green who was performing on another stage. I walked into the crowd like :dwillhuh: blacks, whites, messicans, asians all knew his songs word for word and I ain't know half of that shyt.
