That wasn't a war, it was a clash. They shot at stationed troops, but nothing escalated. 1962 was an all out war with both generals coming to the chessboard. China won. India was bitter and tried to get a cheap shot to boost it's military morale, something they do often in Pakistan. China brushed it off as it was only a 3 kilometer skirmish.
IF war were to ever ensue, China would hand them a massive L. China's land military and rocket response is too vast, too accurate.

You know what is really sad is that years ago I was reading a book on ancient China (written by a Chinese author) and he mentioned that of all the lands that surrounded China, the Indians were the only ones never referred to as 'barbarians' since they had been the source of Buddhism and other culture the Chinese valued. Mao and his boys fukked that up well enough.
This ain't going down. China doesn't want to be encircled by enemies. Even if they beat India they will pretty much drive all of Southeast Asia (ASEAN) into the hands of the US and Japan. The only friend on their borders will be NK and maybe Mongolia. For a rocky ass piece of land??
