Assuming he did it, really hoping he’s found guilty. The culture is down bad. Reading the comments and you’d think this dude was George Floyd. There’s been a break in our cultural ‘spirit’. Civilians now holding to street shyt, everybody treats these demons like somebody who’s been wronged. Like they some political prisoner. Get him tf outta here

the poll on the youtube stream has been at like 66% for not guilty, 14% for hung jury for a weeks now.... and those are mostly folks that likely watched every damn minute of the trial :ehh:

overall the prosecution was weak. defense was sharp af. the evidence was typically circumstantial which is not really what i would want to send somebody to the chair for.

of course thecoli.com, where probably nobody watch the trial and just run off emotions and gossip, would be out of touch with wtf was actually going on :snoop:

So weird, but it's understandable, the way the "social media" generation views these things,

like it's all a game. Like it's all a meme. It's not over for Melly. They will likely retry. But, in LA or even San Diego, they would have gotten a conviction, probably. It's a jury pool from Miramar Florida. They have reasons to mistrust government, and it's a fairly complicated case, in that, it's hard for a jury to convict without motive sometimes. These kinds of cases are more commonly made in bigger cities.

Also, the obvious move, will be seeking a deal for like 15 years. They could easily go to trial and lose, the next time.

The fate of the rest of his life was probably intervened by less than 4 people, with average intelligence. It's all a gamble.

Know two similar cases with no publicity in San Diego, that mistried like this. Juries aren't as trusting of law enforcement as they were pre 2020. They think it's all a lie.

Like most people know, a mistrial is not being found not guilty. The state can get another trial and they will most likely go for one.

they got bortlen up for trial, where there is a lot more evidence. unless bortlen says something weird, i can't see it being much different for melly

What a mistrial does, is give both sides, but mainly prosecution to look at what worked and what didn't. They usually trim down the witnesses, focus on what played the best for a jury. but, again, it come down to 12 average people from Miramar Florida. That's it. And at least 75% of those people were ready to convict.
