I think we all can agree we afforded Fields another chance given the circumstances and his potential. Even if Caleb was coming out last year, I personally ( and obviously incorrectly) would've wanted to ride with Fields. It's just that if we're being realistic he hasn't shown any growth from his rookie year and making the EXACT same mistakes he's been making since he was drafted. I truly don't understand how someone can watch every down of every bears game for the last three years and still think he can be the answer here.

I agree, he could find himself in a nick foles/Joe flacco situation elsewhere, but that for damn sure ain't happening in Chicago/Arlington Heights. It's time to move on.
Itā€™s not that I donā€™t think Caleb can be better than Fields. I just think drafting yet ANOTHER QB doesnā€™t fix our main flaws. Williams would be the THIRD first round pick spent on a QB in 7 years, and weā€™d still be in the same predicament. Not to mention, thereā€™s talk that if the Bears were to somehow get the first pick, he would go back to school because he doesnā€™t want to play for this franchise.

Honestly...blowing so much draft capital on a qb every few years is retarded. If Fields was on ATLanta or Philly those teams would be 3-1, 4-0 at worst. Do you think if you placed Williams back there today we would be much better?

If he is a qb that needs a good team around him to do well so be it. A lot of super bowls were won like that. Now, if he looks like pure dogshyt rest of the season you have to get him out of here but if he has a good statistically year trading out of whichever pick is highest for another ransom is preferred. DJ Moore and MHJ (cuz Carolina shyt is gonna be top 3 easy) and then go all trenches. I don't how these GMs fukk up shyt so simple. you win up front and it makes everything easier.

The team is terrible now but they in a better position than even the fring playoff teams imo because those picks and cap. Plus we all know Flus fakkit ass is gone. Bring in a good, creative offensive coach. Like...this shyt seems so simple to me

Chicago, The 100's
Justin can be a top 10 QB in this league but not on this team. He deserves a better situation. 14 losses in a row. 2 HC'S and OC's in 3 years smh

Draft Caleb with the 1st pick and bring in a new coaching staff on both sides of the ball

Thereā€™s so little patience in the NFL these days. People will point to Fields only winning 5 games so far in his career, but not look at the overall big picture (coaching, defense). Sure, he could play better, and heā€™s been better each game this season. Coaches had him in cuffs the first couple of games and went away from what worked last season.

Troy Aikman started his career 0-11 and had 9 TDs to 18 INTs. Peyton Manning went 3-13 as a rookie and threw 26 TDs to 28 INTs. Could you imagine if Fields had that type of freedom without the constant wonder of whether heā€™s gonna be around? His second season, he didnā€™t even get a chance to build off anything because the Bears didnā€™t have a first round pick, and they traded away their best defensive players, not to mention a new coaching staff.
I get what you trying to say but we comparing justin fields to HOF multi time championship qb's now :pachaha:

Not trying to say will have their career, but by the same token, do we know what he can be if got to play with HOFers early in his career? I feel like in general, black QBs are expected to make miracles out of nothing because of athleticism.
