I may be in the minority, but I think Fields can still be the guy. He's talented as hell. Like I said in another post, the record means little to me because circumstances matter.
Rookie season is a wash. Rarely do rookie QBs go to a bad team and turn it around immediately.
2nd season, there's a new coach, but the main thing is the Bears had nothing to grow on from last season because they had no first round picks and they traded their best defensive players away. "Coincidentally" their last win, Roquan Smith was still on the team and we were 3-4.
This season was supposed to be the improved year, but for some reason, Fields was handicapped the first two games, and the defense is still bad despite all the money that was spent on players. Not to mention key injuries to our offensive line.
I'm not saying Fields is without fault, but he's still young and hasn't had close to an ideal situation around him.
