:rudy:FIELDS CAN MAKE THAT THROW

I'm not even talking only about the arm strength though. Talking pure arm talent.

I haven't seen Fields make this type of throw at any point. Just an excellent touch throw floating between two defenders, from the pocket, in structure to the opposite side of the field. A HC/OC can dial this type of play up for Caleb and not think twice about it. Outside of maybe the three I mentioned, I don't think you can ask any other QB is capable of this throw:

Basically reminded me of this throw (timestamped 7:05):

Unlike Rivers though Caleb is highly mobile and has that Mahomes/Herbert/Josh Allen cannon. There are simply not many throws the guy won't be able to not make.

Fields can make every throw. His accuracy just isn't consistent

:wtf: nikka have you ever played football before , Justin mid but that wasnā€™t all on him, a record is a reflection of the team in football , this not basketball
I don't care who's fault it is atp. I'm done with the losing breh. Fukking done. I can't take it anymore, constantly getting sonned by the Pack. I'm over it breh.
Bears about to get mfking stud of a QB and I'm geeked about it. We about to win some games. Big games

Fields can definitely make every throw. He's got a cannon too. The main difference between him and Caleb is THE EYES!
pocket presence and ability to go through progressions. Caleb's biggest flaw is lack of anticipation throws, this is needed in the NFL and can hinder him. He has everything else though.

This is the main thing people said was the flaw with Justin :jbhmm:

People act like Justin just took off running after the first read was gone. The issue was that he didnā€™t pull the trigger either because he was waiting on the deep pass to develop, or he didnā€™t throw unless they were WIDE open.

Justin also doesn't go through progressions and he doesn't have good pocket presence.

I think this breakdown by Kurt Warner showcases that aspect really well and why Warner has Caleb as the clear #1.

This game actually Caleb's arm talent wasn't the best, but showcased his decision making, processing, problem solving, anticipation, in-game learning, etc.
Kurt Warner really calls out bad quarterback play very objectively on his channel when he does breakdowns and you can tell he likes what he sees from Caleb. Dude is like a CPU.

Just look at this breh, I don't see any QB coming out playing like this. I'm very confident in his ability. I watched the 1st 7 minutes and that was enough. Dude is pro ready. He stands tall in the pocket, scans the field, manipulates coverage with his eyes, agile and has an absolute gun. Make the pick Chicago.
