I will never be upset about adding top end rookie talent to the OL

but I do hope either Nabers/Odunze is available at #9

4 qbs are going before 9. ATL probs doesn't go WR now. MHJ to Ari. that basically leaves Ten/SD as possible WR destinations and not too sure they go that route either.

So good chance one of them are there :yeshrug: if not bowers is a good too
Outta the Bowers talk now.

Poles put himself in a bad place by saying he wanted to do right by Justin and move him by Free Agency - that wasnt something he had full control over

Caleb pushing out his Chicago visit & medicals put a blocker in the Fields trade process - its probably the last thing Poles needed to see to commit 100%

@Brozay why haven't we added to the o-line yet?
I think Poles is going to add to the OL in the draft heavy. They did essentially add Ryan Bates in this FA period, who is going to be our starting center. Poles signed him 2 years ago to be a starter here, but the Bills matched and kept him. Hes probably more a a high end depth piece that can cover 3 poisitions (lg, c, rg) but Poles obviously thinks super highly of him. Hes essentially replacing Cody Whitehair and will push Lucas Patrick back to being the backup he should be. I was a bit surprised Poles didnt chase down one of the FA Centers, but he must really believe in Bates.

Poles is on record saying how much he likes the OT class in the '24 draft. I expect them to bring in some talent at OT. And hes not wrong, its a super strong class. Its not out of the question that we go OT @ #9, or trade back with that pick and get OT later in the 1st. I expect more OL depth added in the 3rd/4th rounds too. Its going to be a heavy OL draft IMO, with a WR mixed in too.

Our new OC and our OL coach were at the Oregon St pro day just yesterday to scout Fuaga - OT that is slotted to go top 15
