Brad Biggs told us the bears wasn't going to be big spenders :manny:

it is on record that we offered sizeable deals to Saquon & Gabe Davis. I wouldnā€™t be surprised if it comes out that we offered a big deal to Hunter too

man, the bears stadium situation is a complete shytshow. how the hell do they propose they get another stadium on the lakefront. the friends of the park will NEVER allow this. plus they don't have enough room to build a new stadium, nor do they have the ability to tear down soldier field as that's not their land or stadium either.

if they go to michael reese, first off, they don't own the land. there's a public transportation problem getting there, and they also still have the arlington heights land they paid $200M for.

and the bears are gonna actually put in $2B on a stadium they don't own????

there are currently too many obstacles on the lakefront that the bears are not in control of to announce a new stadium that won't come to fruition for at least 5 years minimum.

I woulnd't be shocked. no one in the mccaskey family has ever done anything but be born as a halas heir. I personally believe they are cash poor. and after dropping $200M on the arlington heights land, they gotta be hurting even more.

also, I forsee a HUGE tax problem when virginia dies and they gotta split up the shares in the team amongst a million mccaskeys and they gotta pay estate taxes when they have very little cash.

Itā€™s funny cause the whole point of them doing this is to get more money once they sell but

Sounds like the going to sell to an wealthier mf and they going to build a new stadium around the same time bears actually sustain some success, I would imagine they want to like it up when the bears is Super Bowl ready
