Poles is letting bits slip where I think he keeps Fields.

I like that he mentioned poor aggressive conservative balance for both offense and defense to close games. So he definitely knows and didn't hide it from the press to cover the coaches.

After the player input Q, seems there was heavy influence that Getsy wasn't working to better support players in his scheme. Good to actually hear it from the top. Think that tweet saying Moore was getting on Getsy's ass to march down field (explosive) and Getsy insisted on playing clock control with the run has weight to it. Breh had enough and I'm sure threw Getsy under the bus.

Flexibility and adaptive are operative words getting a lot of use when it comes to staffing, by far.

Sucks that Poles basically didn't bother with Harbaugh. But Flus is his boy, for better or worse.

That last packers game was sort of an outlier and it came from injuries.

When healthy the Oline was above average at worst. They need depth but they weren't terrible this year.

Yeah I hate on them but they did improve on their own merit, once healthy. They didn't add a monster like Sweat, either.

Still want that dude fired though. :banderas:

I like this off the strength of the production he got out of Geno, and he comes from the Mcvay tree, which gives me some hope he knows how to scheme to get receivers open

We need to brng in an OC that delivers us a modern passing attack - regardless who the QB is, we need to add another high level WR in the 1st round, and we need to create a dynamic passing attack that scores TOUCHDOWNS

Harbaugh was gonna run it back with Michigan anyway. If he doesn’t beat Ohio State again next year, he’s coming back to the NFL.

Flus on a one year trial won’t be so bad. It sets us up to get Harbaugh after next season. Hiring a new coach this offseason would prohibit that. Chances of Caleb having a year like C.J. Stroud next season are slim. Hopefully, he’ll have Harbaugh as the Bears coach for the start of the 2025 season.
