Bagent szn is upon us :blessed:

Now we'll get to see what he can do when he doesn't have to clean up after the next man's mess :mjpls:

Y'all talking about he's not as quick as Fields, but he also doesn't take 15 seconds to go through his progressions either. I have a funny feeling he'll do ok in a simple game manager role. Obviously not expecting much from the rook but it's really hard to be any worse than Fields excluding the 6 quarters of adult football he played this season.

Militant nikkas still talking crazy, but I just want the best for my Bears even if it means a cac has to outperform Bustin :manny:
So now weā€™re militant because we think bagent canā€™t play well at the nfl level :mjlol:ā€¦ā€¦.Any way Iā€™m already looking for the 2024 draft I know weā€™re taking Caleb number 1 but I wanna see how Braxton jones performs the rest of the season if he is solid then MHJ is the pick but if he struggles you gotta take olu penn state left tackle

That is the entire argument for the Bagent cape. :why:

At least stay on track.
Don't confuse me with the cacs, I ain't caping for shyt. If Fields wasn't hurt I'd say continue to throw his bum ass out there because it's good for the No Limit tank.

I'm just saying some of us might be a little upset if he comes out looking better than the bust, seeing as how the bar isn't set very high.

The fact you comparing a rookie's 1st professional QUARTER in the league to a 3rd year 1st round pick is :mjlol: :mjlol: have you no shame
Certain things you canā€™t teach, and being a rookie has nothing to do with that weak arm of his. Also, some of the things people like you hold against Fields, other QBs can put up similar numbers, but since theyā€™re on better teams, they might win the game. Bears literally have to be perfect, and theyā€™re far from it. Yesterday was the first time the defense held a team under 20 points in 20 games.

According to cacs on social media, he played WAY better than Fields yesterday, he just made a ā€œcouple of rookie mistakesā€ like a fumble 6, and a BAD interception that never had a chance to get to Moore. Meanwhile, when Fields had his best game of his career with an 80% completion percentage, 330 yards and 4 TDs, none of that mattered because of the fumble when he was trying to throw the ball away.
the one thing that was a + with Bagent, he was getting the ball out quick. Justin is just way too late getting the ball out

I think that was a combo of later-game reduced blitzing and quicker screens. Bagent would have been destroyed if he started with that pressure early on.

I also think he was going first options with screens a lot, but I probably don't remember much if you know what I mean. :drunk:

Thatā€™s his biggest issue is he plays hero ball to much instead of taking the easy completion the other issue fields has is he doesnā€™t throw with anticipation thatā€™s why on the play he was injured he didnā€™t throw to dj Moore because it was a anticipation throw

I was telling my boys that the INT he had and the injury play were really on Justin.

Those were feel plays. It's 3rd and 2, you're approaching the Redzone, you see the pressure in front of you, instead of avoiding the guy going for your throwing arm by just rolling some to your right to extend the play and hit a wide open receiver... You just try and throw the ball with a guy in your face.

On the injury play, he had all day to run or just throw the damn ball and ends up getting hurt. It's frustrating as hell to watch.

There was another play close to the goal line where he ran up the middle with Minnesota playing man and the right flat area would have damn near been a walk in touchdown. Instead, he gets stopped and they kick a chip in FG

He will not look just like Fields because heā€™s light years ahead as a prospect. If Caleb was coming out last year the bears bail on fields easily.

Fields had a high sack rate in college throwing to nfl WRs and having nfl offensive lineman
Fam , offense is a work in progress , this is not the cowboys where you can just plug a good qb and expect success, we got more holes fam
They gonna get that young cac killed when he could have had a few easy years being a backup :dead: meatballs :dead:
This is why Chicago doesnā€™t dreserve a good black qb, media gonna treat him like shyt, I donā€™t remember seeing a article on Mitchell trmisky when he was up here fukking shyt up
