This was Drake response on his story. He doesn't seem upset though which is suprising. Hr said something like "what My umi say? Let your light shine your light on the world. Don't switch up now" with some laughing emojis

When was drake ever in a break troop outside being a classically trained method actor watching breaking.

When did he ever cypha as a real actual emcee. Besides method acting as a pixar voice actor or reel to reel come to life.

Pardon...

Culturally.

Hiphop is anti androgynous pagan.
When those directors for his obs classically trained actor internship program role directors asked him to geba another male child's ass. Why was there no pushback.

How are you a part of hiphop and you actively for dollars being an androgynous pagan.

how are you keeping it true and you being an androgynous pagan for dollars.

You are not a part Of hiphop drake.

Yea Drake is a pop artist. There's nothing hip hop about a track like this. Straight pop. :beli:

Drakes makes popular music but that doesnt mean he's a pop artist. Pop is a sound. Taylor Swift is a pop artist. If Brittany Spears dropped an album tomorrow it wouldn't be as popular as back in the day but it would still be a POP album. Does Drake have songs that crossover? Of course. That doesn't mean he's not hip hop. Was Ja Rule a pop artist or did he just have songs that crossed over? Why would a pop artist respond to Pusha T? This just comes off as old head hating to me.

-Hotline Bling
-Find Your Love
-Marvins Room was actually played on the pop station here.
-One Dance
-Take Care
-Too Good
-Honestly Nevermind Album
-Hold on Were Going Home
-Best I Ever Had
-Houstalantavegas

And a whole heap of song where he rapped, yeah but had a sugary, sweet singing hook that made his music easily accessible to all the Becky's in middle America. Now all that being said , I'm still not dissing him, I'm just pointing out facts. He's necessary in the music Industry. But let's not act like saying he's Pop is some stretch or that it's even disrespectful. It's factual.

He's a rapper first, who also makes other kinds of music. He's also a Pop Star, but to pretend that's all he is just shows how dusty Mos Def is :manny:

But Mos clearly said it in a tone of disrespect. If Drake ends up jabing him with some bars Id have no issue with it. I guess it depends on how one defines pop. Is their any other rapper you'd consider a pop artist? Was Ja Rule a pop artist?

And Rich Baby daddy is a hip hop song

Flo Rida. He's poppy AF. Pitbull. If the 3 of them were to tour together it would def be on brand. Idk man, where do we draw the line?
None of this is new. I remember when I was a young bul, there was Jeru, De La, Black Star, Tribe Common , Lauryn who used to verbally admonish their more commercially appealing contemporaries or to call out bullshyt. The culture has shifted so far, that you can't even call out the obvious anymore. No wonder coochie rap is a genre now. Lol.

My problem with Mos doing this is that if Drake responds, he knows damn well he's gonna go :whoa: for at least 10 minutes straight.

Ask Lupe.
