You think george ever allows Russel Martin to leave for a paltry 17 mill? I know Martin isnt great but the drop off between him and the next catcher is astronomical. It was an awful descion to let him go for peanuts.

then we only give out one year deals, which we are lucky guys like Kurida took less to stay. but suddenly we give 2 years to Ichiro who is mad old and not as productive, why ? cause jew Hal wants to cash in on 3000 hits. What are we the Jets?

Chavez also let go for 3 mill ?

this is becoming insanity. but I still gotta pay the same price for some bullshyt tickets and lemonade? The Bo$$ is dead and his sons look like they just care about their money which is understandable but you can tell that out of every boss in any sport, George loved his team more than anything. He didn't care about spending money.

With other teams now looking to imitate our formula, we might be in some trouble when trying to go after worthy free agents.

George woulda gave Coke Boy Josh $200 mil and Swisher $75 by now. Let's not act like George and the Tampa Goons always did the smart thing. Y'all just don't like how the Yankees aren't chasing away problems with money.

Only the Yankees can spend about $200 mil on payroll and be considered cheap. The transition period for this team has to start at some point. Y'all want a new GM, new manager, new players, but y'all still think we'll reasonable be able to compete for a title? You're buggin.

you act like theres smthg wrong with that. this team could have a 300 mill payroll and still be caking. i wanted hamilton we needed a young bat. its not about amount of money its percentage of revenue. the yanks dont even spend half their revenue on the team anymore, the tigers spend 78 percent. Hal has changed the entire culture of the team cause he dont give a shyt but wants to charge way more money than his father ever did and at the same time spend way less of revenue percentage on the team
