Its coming back.

No need to age Huey or Riley. They’ve always been kids and kids they will remain

Grandad is an integral part of the show. If you bury him simply because John Witherspoon is dead then that means Huey and Riley HAVE to move back to Chicago, therefore invalidating the point of the entire series.

Grandad will have to be recast, provided the assumption that John Witherspoon didn’t record any voice work, then the show must go on with another voice actor.
Probably reboot not another season

Somebody was suggesting or speculating that they bring in Jennifer Lewis as Granddad's sister for the boys to live with, which I would be fine with.

They have a lot of topics and subjects to get to when they do premier that i do know. But without Charlie and Pops will it still feel the same is the only thing i'm wondering?

If they need a stand in for John Witherspoon (assuming he didn’t do any voice work before passing), they should cast his son JD. He does a really good impression :mjcry:

It won't be as good. People forget that the Boondocks went out on a trash note. Also, these are different times. Shea butter twitter is gonna bash the show like crazy if it gets too non-PC
That's what I'm worried about. "Cancel culture" is extreme right now that I'm pretty sure they'll be going crazy about it.

To be fair, Aaron had nothing to do with season 4. I think a few more key writers were gone as well. While things may not be as good as past seasons, I think things will at least be better than season 4.
