Its coming back.

No need to age Huey or Riley. They’ve always been kids and kids they will remain

Grandad is an integral part of the show. If you bury him simply because John Witherspoon is dead then that means Huey and Riley HAVE to move back to Chicago, therefore invalidating the point of the entire series.

Grandad will have to be recast, provided the assumption that John Witherspoon didn’t record any voice work, then the show must go on with another voice actor.
Moving to Chicago would be cool

It would make zero sense.

The comic itself takes place in Woodcrest. The OG show show takes place in woodcrest. Its part of the Boondocks canon. Thats where all the fukkery takes place because its where Ed Wunclear & his son, Tom, Sarah, Jasmine, Thugnificent, Ceaser (if they decide to bring him in) and most importantly RUCKUS reside. All of the canon side characters are from Woodcrest.

I pray COVID doesn't make this come out later than it was supposed to

That and the death of John Witherspoon (again provided he didn’t finish VA for the season) probably pushed things back. I know the animation process on the OG series beginning with season 2 was notoriously difficult as they animated in Korea

I don't trust Aaron :wtb:

He's on that colorism shyt, Everytime he makes a bad character its a dark like really dark skinned black man. Like everything is dark skin black man fault.

He said he was going to bring in a character called Ceasar who was a friend to Huey but never did:patrice:

The thing about it was that Ceasar is dark skinned, his character would have made him the only not bad dark skinned black male in the whole series:jbhmm:

When he makes a good black character he's light skinned :patrice:

Take Tyler Perry he's not dark skinned but when he's the bad character he's dark skinned now. Or Katt Williams who's not dark skinned but his character is like the darkest shade in the show.

My problem here is that Aaron chose to use dark skinned black people to represent "Bad intentions" :patrice:

He called Tyler Perry out for the same shyt but did it himself :unimpressed:

The comics wasnt as profane or clownish
The comics were a lot smarter

The comics had riley

The comics didnt have to deal with a voice actor dying

It's new territory
