To be fair, Aaron had nothing to do with season 4. I think a few more key writers were gone as well. While things may not be as good as past seasons, I think things will at least be better than season 4.
Aaron was actually involved in season four to some degree. I don't know how much he did or what he did exactly, but Sony fired him because episodes were taking too long to make.
Carl Jones wasn't involved in season four either and he's not part of the reboot. He was one of the major reasons why the show worked so well in the first three seasons, so I hope they found someone worthy to take his place.
