dallas is the goat american city how many times must I say it
Nobody in Charlotte compares Charlotte to Atlanta. Atlanta cats are more likely to make that comparison.
I prefer Charlotte, tho. The traffic and pretentiousness of Atlanta is not my steez. Job market ain't all that either.
If I was some 6'3" popular ass ex D-1 athlete, ATL would be the lick. But as a regular dude, even in my youth, I didn't feel like it was as great as people made it out to be.
I'll take Chicago over Atlanta any day. Just as many black folk, without the uppityness.

I don't think any place can every become Atlanta, especially not Texas, as a houstonian, we have too many Mexicans, Asians, and "others".
But everytime I go to Atlanta I always hear people discussing moving to Texas/Memphis/North Carolina to "settle down and start a family", mostly women.
Maybe Charlotte can become like Atlanta in the sense of it being a black economic hub, but it's not gonna replace Atlanta as the center of black entertainment and culture.
Any city without a well established public transit system is automatic to me.I honestly don't want it to be the wave. I like driving without bumper to bumper traffic.
Not even close.
Dallas should cut Jerry Jones a check for life for keeping the city on the map from a cultural standpoint.
Without Jerry, I’m not sure what Dallas would be.
Man they’re growing apartments lie trees up in there lol. I’m glad I moved about 20 miles north because I probably wouldn’t have a place to stay if I lived in the city lol. I fukk with Charlotte though cause it’s just right... it’s not too big that it’s hard to get around, yet it’s not too small where nothing goes on. There’s a lot of black folks making moves in Charlotte and it’s a little more progressive than you would think.Charlotte's infrastructure won't allow it to compete with any major city.
They've already overbuilt in Uptown and are pricing the middle class out of the city.
I came back after a year and a half to so much construction along South Boulevard it was ridiculous. Two lane cramped streets but you have these giant apartments complexes towering over the street then on the other side you still have tiny gas stations and small businesses that don’t go together.Man they’re growing apartments lie trees up in there lol. Yeah I moved here right before they fukked up that area and moved stopped food truck friday. It started back up but I haven't been yet. Man it's crazy trying to get around that city sometimes smh especially on I-77 during rush hour. They're just throwing up apartments anywhere and kicking black folks out of places smh. I hope the city steps in to stop getting rid of the more affordable apartments. They're just putting up huge apartment buildings next to corner stores and shyt. Used to love going to Food Truck Friday but it got moved and the lot was being turned into apartments right next to Price’s Chicken.
