If the government doesn't do something about the skyrocketing cost of living soon. shyt is gonna get ugly for everyone. Moreso women because they work in fields that generally pay less money. With inflation up 7% most employers ain't matching half that amount on raises. Hell I switched jobs recently so I could get a 15% pay bump.

I got a 5.5% raise and I have talked to other companies. I feel ya on that! Women typically earn a lot less.

see a lot of women of the 90s, 2000s didn’t have social media outlets in their hands to tell on themselves .. so many was able to hide their past and lock down a dude. Some not many was able to. Because they on social media today

The women now especially over the last 10 years have documented their past, present and future all over Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc , so they letting dudes know off bat , how they not marriageable

I met chicks who really like me and they went on their Facebook to delete every picture, likes, comments they had.. but unfortunately for them, they still leave 3 or 4 comments or a like from a dude and u can click on that and see some comments she left on the other dude page

Believe it or not, Being alone for women isn’t really as big of a deal as society used to say because women have always had to manage with being by themselves because men die before women.

I think some men (not you…I honestly don’t think that’s what U were doing here lol) play up the old cat lady stuff to give themselves a sense of importance but in the grand scheme of things, women tend to adjust to living single just fine and many even prefer it. Other than health, shelter becomes more important when you start getting up there. As far as being married in your senior years, a lot of you will probably spend the majority of the time taking care of your spouse, depending on who becomes disabled first...and that can be sooner than you think. That, or you'll probably wound up having your mother-in-law or father-in-law moving in with yall because they can no longer take care of themselves, which can be nerve-wracking. The last woman I dated in her fifties left her husband because she got tired of taking care of him, after he became disabled from a car accident. And they were married for 22 years. I already knew I didn't want to be in a long-term relationship with her. Btw, she didn't just come out and tell me that. It came out in bits and pieces. I've heard of stories like this before, that also included husbands leaving their wives for similar reasons.

I didn't say all this to make you want to stay single, but just to say everybody have their cross to bear, whether you're single or married. Just don't get into the habit of looking at older people, and saying you don't want to wound up like this person or that person when you get older. A lot of times you turn out worst than that person when you say those things. I've heard younger people make these comments mostly towards older single people, without knowing it could be a living nightmare for them if they were married.
