I went today cos they reopened with taped up sections, hand sanitisers and wipes and disinfectant for the equipment. I rocked a mask still, not many others did though they did follow protocol
Gyms reopening Saturday in U.K.
I tried to go the home route but it’s not working out for me, equipment limitations and general lack of motivation to even get started.
Gonna probably go back next month and run a 3 day full body routine, maybe motivate myself to do some short home workouts on off days.
Ideally I wanted to run home workouts until Christmas and then go back to the gym in the new year.
go on any internrt selling auction or sales service site.
in a focused effort.
to buy some used pig weight.
shyt even I got a brand new rack and bench squat cage for sale still in the box. fukk the gym. That shyt only for people beginning.
or close to hitting a wall and need the crutch of a partner.
if you are going to lift uninterrupted and make it do you never miss.
you have to get that money at the crib.
going to the gym will eventually make you hit the wall or miss and why do that. When, you can never miss by having the shyt at the crib.
how are you going to miss. When lazily you can hit each set of reps between walking back and forth to the tv. In between sets to your area to lift.
having your own equipment is the only way long term to do this shyt.
going to the gym after that.
is all add or pick up days to your normal schedule.
to maybe you then go an additional day and lift with a partner or learn some new workout just to do it.
having a way to get money at the crib.
is the only way to go.

Plenty of people have equipment at the house and don't do (or still look like) shyt, just like fukkboys and girls go to the gym, don't be about shyt, and still see no results. If you want it bad enough, you'll get after it, regardless of where you have to go.
I go to the gym, never have a regular patna, and don't hit walls (FWIW).
would i be crazy spending 25-30 mins at the gym 3x a week? I just need a rack to do squats / bench / pull ups

Nah, I've never been to jail. Not sure what that has to do with going to the gym tho.
I take supps (I love em), I take shakes (shakes are supps btw), I lift regularly, and am bigger/stronger than 90% of folks walking around. Only been lifting for 5 years, never had a partner, only folks that might tag along and then inevitably fall off.
With that said, what I won't do is sit here and argue with you over the internet; I don't get paid to do that. You say your opinion; you do that, and I'll do the same.
I for one never take strength training advice from people weaker than myself, nor do I advise people that happen to be stronger than me. Anybody that's not me is free to do as they wish.

Ofc I've missed days (not due to injury), and I've also gone on days when I'd already gone or was scheduled to rest.
Haven't snapped my shyt up or had injuries requiring extensive rest, downtime, or surgery. Been Jah blessed.
