Caprice tho. Impalas are not really Impalas until like 74 75 with the big bodies. The caprice/impala was still a big body caprice in like 83 84. They are gettin more and more rare. People laugh now, but the 454 big body SS impalas are going to be six figure cars in a few years.

I don’t quite understand what you’re trying to say breh. The Impala was sold from 71-76, and shared the same body style with the Caprice. No matter how you slice it, 71-76, Impala or Caprice, it’s a donk.

I get fukked up with the Impala/Caprice badge around 77 78. That's when they went to the new platform... I got it... I thought the big body Chevelle started in 74... I meant to say Chevelle 454 SS, not Impala. 71-76 sounds right. I was probably about 2 beers in at the time, by bad.

5 largest cities in the US in 1900
01 New York New York 3,437,202 Northeast
02 Chicago Illinois 1,698,575 Midwest
03 Philadelphia Pennsylvania 1,293,697 Northeast
04 St. Louis Missouri 575,238 Midwest
05 Boston Massachusetts 560,892 Northeast

why would you expect the Northeast cities (NY, BOS, PHL) to have a car culture when they experienced their greatest growth before the car?

Chicago has no culture. New York at least has a car scenes. There's a lot of YouTubers post up in New York

Interesting. Wouldn't think NY have a car scene like the West or the South considering that they don't have the space like those other cities in other regions.

:gucci: impalas/caprice were big bodys from 65-76 sedans and coupes. 77 and onward they were downsized. I got a 77 impala coupe right now .

They might be but not command as much as the 427 optioned ones

It’s something about them box Chevy coupes :wow:...

Linny J had the dopest one out before he sold it.

This’ll forever be my favorite box coupe though.
I had an 84 coupe I bought as a project, but after tearing into it was too far gone, floor pans rusted out and shyt. I didn’t wanna deal with all that so I sold it.

If I had about 75k to spend frivolously :wow: not the super goofy Ronald McDonald type shyt, but I would definitely have a decked out car for warm weather on some Cali or Texas shyt

I don't even need to beat down the block with blown out speakers and subs anymore, but throw a good hi-fi system in there too? :banderas:

Edit: I had to check out the classic, and found out they uploaded a new video in 2020 :mjlol:

There was a car culture in the NE and there probably still is. It just isn't as big as the one down south.
