Rereading

How to Win Friends and Influence People

Reading

Pimp - Iceberg Slim - great
The Land Of the Gods - HP Blavatsky - stupid
Demons - Michael S Heiser- scary

Also what’s the name of that Sci Fi book about spiders?

A poster posted it earlier this week in TLR and I can’t find the title …

A book thread in The Film Room (probably be better suited here in The Locker Room)
I regularly post what I finished reading there.

About an hour ago I finished reading The Hellbound Heart which was the novella Hellrasier was based on

I just started with him. I picked up Books of Blood and was surprised at how good his prose was. I bought Imajica and Damnation Game immediately. I wish I gave him a shot years ago.
I got a couple of other books I got ahead of them but I can't wait to read some more of his stuff

Come to think of it,

50 cent - hustle harder, hustle smarter

Or something like that

Napoleon Hill - master key to riches

Both are great self help books with very sensible anecdotes. The latter is a classic and IMHO better than "think and go rich", which i generally regard as the first self help book. Read master key and you might not need any other self improvement text short of something religious, if you're into that.
