Dude, I'll be completely honest. I try to make sure I get my points across without coming off as really hateful or whatnot. That's not me. Personally, I value the white friends and associates I have in my life like anybody else. I would hate to think that people are misunderstanding what we're talking about due to feeling some type of way. It's not about malice or anything hateful, it's about using the internet to educate others (blacks and whites an whoever wants to take in some knowledge). If it comes off that way to other posters...I don't know. That says a lot more about them than us...
I think most of us (I can't speak for them...only myself...and really shouldn't be chosen to be the global spokeperson for black people and that's one of the problems I feel that is currently visible) would like things to be better in society. Maybe that anger and frustration and those expressions of it fro injustice, discrimination, double standards rubs people the wrong way and exposes their insecurities.
I would personally hate to feel that what I talk about here would leave some white people feeling petrified...that shouldn't be the case. if anything, I think what I talk about in regards to race to help people become better people and treat others with respect and work to change things. Not to harbor some fear or hatred.
