Healthy Wade was a problem.

I don't think he'd be close to GOAT status though. But he'd be higher up. A healthy 14 years of Wade as a number 1 option would be interesting.

But I think him not being a strong shooter would hurt him.

Healthy Wade for 10 plus years is neck and neck with Kobe if not above. His only weakness was shooting. That's it. And he was just average. He wasnt terrible at it. He was elite at everything else. His playmaking ability is underrated because he's had mid teams for most of his career

Those last 2 seasons before Lebron and Bosh came. He put those teams on his back and when he got his 35 he set up his teammates effortlessly. Had a washed Jermaine O Neal looking like LaMarcus Aldridge

Harden's offense was so much more advanced, is my basis for saying he was better at basketball. Significantly more prolific scorer. Significantly greater shot creator. Significantly greater playmaker, significantly more developed passer. His mastery of control of tempo and pace were at a scale Wade never reached...

Bare minimum Harden was a more lethal offensive player. I'm not even sure why guys argue otherwise other than the fact they just flat out dislike Harden, Wade was more likable...

I will say this. As far as elite players go, Wade I think was underrated in his prime. He really balled out when healthy and he was a real all rounder. He could score, facilitate, defend and do it all at a high level. I think his physical style of play cost him in the long run but he was a blur more often then not.
