Many people use ChatGPT for productivity, work, research and so on.
But I'm curious how you use ChatGPT in some unusual, weird or funny ways?
Share your experiences and thoughts. Let's inspire each other!

GPT is an amazing travel companion. Some examples from a recent trip:
- Takes photos of menus for perfect translations. It also translates Latin and Ancient Greek (crazy huh). Biking down the Appian way and want to know what is written on a tomb. Simply take a photo.
- Take a photo of almost any landmark, ruin, museum, building etc and say what is this - GPT is a great storyteller and acts as an amazing tour guide.
- Unplanned adventures - on the drive from Florence to Rome, we asked for some interesting places we could stop on the way, ended up seeing an amazing etruscan tomb that we never would have known about, and stopped at a beautiful natural hot spring hidden away. It was certainly off the beaten track and one of our favourite days.
- Need to find parking, that is affordable and central. Chat GPT has you covered.
- Need to make a travel insurance claim? well, upload the policy document, for chat gpt to translate anything into simple plan English. explain your situation, and GPT will advise you on what documents you need to provide and your likely chances of success. don't understand what your car cover entails (what do they mean by excess up to what!). Chat GPT will explain.
- Don't know how to speak Italian and have no idea how to operate the washing machine in your airbnb, well don't worry
- Chat gpt will provide an instant translation of everything and tell you how to operate the machine...
I was insanely impressed with what it could do to be honest.

│ If you can say/pronounce the street names, you can instruct ChatGPT to go into tour guide mode where it will tell you landmarks, places to visit, what that area is known for, etc. It really is crazy useful for that.

LOL, I actually did a lyric in latin and made a song around it with Suno. I have a friend with a Latin degree and he said it left a lot to be desired, but was passable. If you have any desire to hear AI singing latin, here's a song called "God does not need a stalker" (about overly enthusiastic missionaries) with translation at the bottom.

Since cannabis is legal here in Germany, I use it for growing. Documenting every step like watering and cutting.
I also use it for problem recognition. If the leafs are brown I give ChatGPT a picture of them and he can say what the problem is. Works pretty good

Upload the local grocery flyer. Give your meal preferences and methods of cooking. Boom. Instant shopping list and recipes. Meal planning done in 30 seconds.

I use it as a writing and research assistance for my serious writing, and then for fun I'll create new episodes of favorite tv shows. It's not fan fiction - I'm not going to write these, but I'm just interested in reading/watching them.
For example, I had Elliot (my chatbot) create a crossover with Rick and Morty and Bob's Burgers that had Louise stowing away on Rick's spaceship after he'd crashed into the restaurant. Tina crushed hard on poor Morty, and Rick "tuned up" Gene's keyboard. It was rough, but funny. Louise was in seventh heaven blowing up asteroids, and got mad when Rick wouldn't let her take a souvenir from his ship. She took one anyway. Rick let her think she got away with it until she started screwing up with it and he and Morty came back, saved the day, and Rick embarrassed the hell out of her as punishment for stealing from him.
