Whats more, the Germans were into Arianism, a type of Christianty that goes against the Trinity and actually considered Jesus to be a demigod like Hercules or Thor... the first real Christians were the Coptics and Ethiopians

Depends on how you defined converted. Seems like Judeo christrian beliefs were there since the beginning, Ethopia was one of the first regions mentioned in the Bible and there were random references thrown in which is amazing since Ethiopia never bordered Israel.

In this case it means the Emperor at the time who controlled a decent portion of what is now called Ethiopia declared the land that he controlled Christian.

I was raised in the church, I'm a Preachers Kid.

I got into African Studies as a teen, and studied my way out of religion.

I consider myself to be more "Agnostic" in that there are multiple religions, and everyone thinks their version is correct.

Culturally I was raised in the Black Christian Church, I still have love for the people, the music, and the community.

Here are a few Books that I read that cover some of the subject:

- John G. Jackson: Christianity Before Christ
- Yosef Ben-Jochannan: African Origins of the Major Western Religions
- Albert Churchward: The Signs And Symbols Of Primordial Man
- Gerald Massey: The Historical Jesus and Mythical-Christ

There are a lot more, choose the path that resonates with you.
Thanks breh. I only have African origins atm. I grew up in a heavy church going family too but it just never resonated with me whatsoever. The only thing holding on was guilt and fear of condemnation but once I let that go I never looked back. Consequently I never looked that hard into Christianity either . Thanks

Dude came at me foul first.

Was wrong, the whole time, but his ego, and fake "Tough" persona got the best of him.

A person with integrity would have admitted being wrong, but he doubled down.

I don't FUKK with people like that.

When you are wrong about something, you don't double down.

The Breh @MMS provided-insight/corrected me about something I posted, I didn't argue with Breh.
I dapped him and kept it moving. He clearly, intensely studies the scriptures, I do not.
i think the big trend i see on coli is many people see the pastor first then the message

so i highly recommend in this time of unparalleled access to information to relook at the narratives

cause there are some ideas that have been lost in favor of bad ones (some thousands of years old)

side note: in the game "Diablo 2" the term angel and archangel are associated with Sorceresses...

and the first big test in the bible is whether Abraham sacrifices his son because of a "command" from God :jbhmm:

the numeric value of the letter Shin is 300 :jbhmm:

Decenter the Bible in your analysis of Africa.

Life and civilization did NOT begin at the creation of Christianity
and its arrival in indigenous African communities.

I repeat..

Ethiopia CONVERTED to Christianity 4th century AD,
because of a non-Black Christian missionary from Lebanon.

It was NOT indigenous to the land, no matter how much “Black” nikkas try to spray on Christianity using Ethiopia.

They were one of the first to CONVERT to Christianity,
because of a non-Black Christian missionary from Lebanon.

Christianity is an inherently colonial religion

Honestly the way I look at it is, the "truth" can be any one of the religions out there, a combo of different ones, or none of them can be true.

Christianity could also be "The Truth" (or aspects of it).

I'm not God, so all I can do is study, and look into the most likely scenario(s), and decide what "Resonates" best with me.

Once again I was raised in the Black Christian Church, I still attend sometimes with family.

My personal belief is that there is a God, I've felt the "presence" of God in the Church in worship, and in my own individual prayer, and expressions of gratitude towards "The Divine".

I feel that same "Presence" when I listen to Gospel music, if you've ever felt that "Presence", then you know what I'm talking about.

We all should be trying to get to the "Truth", which could be something you are familiar with, so something you are not.
