I honestly believe that this dude Cole Swider is going to be able to provide the shooting that Harris would provide so I understand. But I would not let that hold up the deal.

The real reason they probably don't want him because they would be taking in more salary and push them further into the luxury tax.

I think it’s because Curry has only one year left and Harris has two. The Lakers want the books cleared after next year, with only THT (who, let’s be real, probably will be traded) and AD’s salary in the roster.

They want the flexibility to sign another star free agent if Kyrie doesn’t work out or Lebron leaves to pair with Davis.

I think its more about not wanting to give up 2 picks. I am glad they are taking their time. We are competing with no one, no need to overpay.
