Kids absolutely do change a relationship
I don't think it's children, but the failure to adjust. You don't fit children into your preexisting schedule, you create an entirely new schedule. That may mean giving some things you did before or doing them infrequently, oh well. You will get over it.

Truth be told tho, and this was one of the biggest points of consternation when we had youngins. The min that kid gets here the world aint about you no more. I understood that concept ahead of time sans high priced electronics and small children dont go together. But wifey that shyt diddnt translate so it took me to teach her the actual factuals. I often have to remind her you do know there will be a day when they aint here you need to make sure I'm tended too as well
