We were chasing the thief, and she randomly popped out and hugged the thief and zapped him, and then started crying. That's when the mission began

I'm assuming she has to be in your party because that didn't happen for me. So the Blade side quests are probably tied into specific scenes. Gonna make it impossible to do them all.

fukked around and did too much side stuff.
Now, I'm way over leveled for the story. I just fought a boss I had 15 levels on and that was using my weakest characters

I'm in the same boat, level 41 and still on Chapter 4.

Normally over-leveling would kinda kill an RPG for me but the story is interesting enough I don't mind. Plus there's always something out there that can kill you.

This Ursula blade side quest is a joke. It takes ages. Don't bother with it.

The side quests for Perceval and Azami were much better and less time consuming.

I like them all for different reasons but my favorite is that second tank you get in the story

But generally my fav JRPGs are Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and FFIX prolly that order too, and right now I'm feelin like I wanna put this right in that list, possibly right after Chrono Trigger.

I'm buying the first Xenoblade now off the strength.

No issues and I've been using the pro controller a ton.

How are you guys getting these 1mil+ damage chain attacks? I've never got above 300k or so and that's with like 3 rounds of elemental bursts and overkill
