The Xbox one x is 1080p too?

I legit didn’t even know that

ya it is

I learned this interestingly enough when setting it up with a 4K projector

the projector I have doesn’t detect/distinguish 1080 vs 4K input automatically like a TV would

so when I first set it up, I just kept getting a black projection...and couldn’t get the xbox to display over the projector...eventually looked around online and did some troubleshooting and found out that games/apps are in 4K but not the dashboard...so I had to tinker with a setting on the xbox itself...everything worked out tho

These the same nikkas that can tell the difference between checkerboard 4k and native 4k on their 1080p sets. Your deceptive natures have been revealed.

I got a 3080 and LG CX 10, the UI of the PRO is just as sharp on my 1080p monitor because its smaller, only way you will notice a different is on a 55 inch 1080p tv compared to a 4k, its a UI its not that serious

The PRO can't do 4k, the checkboard is just upscaling 1440p to a 4k signal because for some dumb ass reason the PRO can't output 1440p unless you get an Mbox which converts the signal

Watch Xbots say they won't notice it...

on a TV it makes absolutely zero difference

on the projector the main inconvenience is the projector has to switch from 1080 “mode” to 4K when jumping from the dashboard to a game/app...and from 4K to 1080 when going back to the dashboard...it’s annoying bcuz the projection turns black for a second or two

1st reply addresses it...

Microsoft set aside 1 GB of ram so the dashboard could be 4k but the game devs said they could use that 1 GB for games so Microsoft made the decision to do 1080p dash and let the game devs have the extra GB to use.

...I just don’t understand why MS would still go with this line of thinking tho for the XSX which is substantially more powerful...anyway makes me no real difference

The Pro does output in 4K.
Digital Foundry: Every PS4 Pro native 4K game tested
