Xbox Series X and Series S: $499 and $299 - November 10th Launch

I think this will cap the XSX at $499 but will match/undercut Sony with wherever they want to go with the PS5 price with the XSX. Between Sony/Microsoft, we've not seen a $299.99 launch since the OG Xbox in 2001. This is very big.

That's HUGE honestly. As a PC gamer i'm still going with PS5 since all Microsoft exclusives will be on PC anyway. But for strictly console players these price points are honestly the sweet spots.

Damn. Now i KNOW they mad they not gonna have Halo ready this year. A 299 xbox with a new halo AT LAUNCH? Literally printing money.

If instead of a 4k 120fps box you getting a 1080p-1440p 60fps that's a easy downgrade to swallow considering the money you saving

Resolution isn't going to be the only difference. It's more akin to a 1080-1440p system @ low-medium graphics settings. That's still a good deal especially with game pass.

Depends on what you play

If you play sony exclusives you get the ps5....

But if you a madden, 2k and COD type of dude...playing the next gen games for 300 is just too good to pass up

MS made it a "fukk it why not" price they don't give af if people are deceived
The bigger picture is Sony can't get cute with the prices
Can't sell like hotcakes if you are 500/600

Halo was supposed to be the jewel, definitely. I think the price is still going to get the wow factor from most consumers though. I only wonder what they are eating to get this cost to 299.99. Y'all can run with placeholder price until we get an official confirmation but this will be 299.99.
