i don't understand why yall keep saying sony has to lower their price. Why would they lower their price to compete with an inferior, gutted next gen console? It's ognna be a 100 dollar difference between this and a fully next gen ps5 with no disc drive.

There's a few points of like to address.
Up to 1440p sounds like marketing speak. I reckon that the XSS will run most titles at 1080p then upscale to 4k.
All digital means that you will not be able to have BC on the XSS. I may be wrong.
The price may have killed the interest of many potential XSX customers and might become the bestseller.

Backwards compatible games are available as digital downloads. Games don't even play off the discs they're all installed on the hard drives now

Framerate is usually more related to CPU power than GPU
The Series S is a huge upgrade over the one X in CPU power.
The new architecture of the GPU means straight TFLOP comparisons aren’t valid.
The GPU in the series S is at least as powerful as in the one X if not more, and has next gen features like ray tracing.

I know that all BC games are emulated on the Xbox One. But I've got a shot ton of 360 games that I haven't put on it, now do they verify that I own the games.
Some games still do read from the disc, play Ghost of Tsushima and listen to the Blu-ray spin like crazy. If you can here it above the fan
