Actually they haven't confirmed much of anything which is the biggest thing I fault them for. Sony hasn't confirmed much either tbh, they use the same company line with vague answers followed by we'll speak about it at a later date, that's the standard ms and sony answer. I fully expect sony and ms to share the same policies.

They've said multiple times you can play offline with no connection required and no check in and that DRM will be left up to publishers. We just had a thread on this.



I'm interested in how EA handles DRM with no online pass now.

When you repeat a lie so many times, people start to believe it. It started merely as a joke because of a frigging disconnection issue I had years ago during UC2 MP matches and it became a running gag that was always said by Court. My connection as evidenced by the ping test and speed test says otherwise. You guys can keep living in the realm where you think XBL is immaculate and any faults with it by users are mishaps on their behalf.

And you know what, I took it as a joke at first. But then you continued to mention your connection problems over the years with games that were known to have good connections.

I got lag, disconnects and server errors on several games several times such as Halo 4, Gears of War 3, ME3 etc.

To be more specific....

Gears of War 3 is a MESS online without dedicated servers. Damn near every game I've played or heard about on XBL suffers the same problems as any other versions available.

I have over 1000 more matches played in Gears 3 than you and I've played it deeper into its life cycle. I've lost connect to host less than 10 times. I've never skipped around. I've never been killed by someone skipping around. I've never been in a lobby where opponents cried lag. Hit detection was damn near flawless. Only mantle kicks glitched up occasionally, but that wasn't even a connection issue.

Face it breh, you're either exaggerating to support your stance or your service consistency is

You talking about when it first came out? If that, yeah it was halo 4 was messing up. It only happen once for me,but it stop right after that.

For the most part, I don't have connection problems all the time in these games. When i do, it's ugly. Gears have good connections on the few dedi playlists. I've played with people who complained about lag when i wasn't lagging.

Yea that's in dedi playlists. P2P playlists where there wasn't dedi's were horrible. I don't remember the names but I'll look for them.
