Xbox One pre-orders have re-written records in Microsoft History Book, according to VP Marketing, Strategy And Business Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft has sold out of our pre-order supply faster than at any other time in our history and we are on path to have the biggest launch of an Xbox ever

That's because they're six months behind and only have just enough consoles for 13 countries.

Yusuf further revealed that Xbox One pre-orders have gone up 200 percent in Europe since GamesCom 2013. If you can recollect properly, it was at GamesCom that Microsoft announced all Xbox One Day Pre-orders in Europe will get a free copy of FIFA 14.

They went from five pre-orders to ten.

"As a result of this incredible consumer demand and the development progress on Xbox One, I am thrilled to share that today we are making available a limited number of additional Xbox One Day One consoles for pre-order," Mehdi added. "We have coordinated with our retail partners to make it easy for you to reserve your Xbox One today.

We talk about how great our pre-orders have improved, but the numbers are still embarrassing so we need every pre-order we can get.

200% is all relative, if your numbers are shyt a 200% increase doesn't mean anything without hard numbers, which are conveniently absent.
