It looks about as wide as a fully loaded HD Receiver. That's the first thing that came to mind when I saw it. It's not as tall though.

Xbox One Will Not Function Without Kinect Attached

Xbox's UK marketing director has said that without Kinect connected, Xbox One will not function.

After a Microsoft-hosted London event around the Xbox One reveal, Xbox's UK marketing director Harvey Eagle has said that the console will not function without Kinect connected.

"Kinect does require to be connected to Xbox One in all cases, yes," he said. Asked whether the Xbox One will accommodate people who perhaps play in their bedroom rather than their living room, Eagle replied: "Yes, absolutely. We use the living room almost as a moniker - that's where we assume the best screen is in the house. But if you like to play in any other room in the house, the Xbox One will deliver the same quality of experience whatever the environment."

As anyone who's ever tried to play with Kinect in an enclosed area knows, the current technology simply doesn't support it - which means that Xbox One's new Kinect sensor must be significantly different if it will work in any room in the house.

Controller looks exactly the same too. Huge and clunky. No innovation there. I guess if you need to do some weighted hangs on the pullup bar you can just strap your Xbox Dung to your chest and get a good work out in though.

You don't have a xbox..why are you talking about the controller if you don't play it. :why...:

All I need is one system. I don't know enough about them to know what I'm going to get next. I won't be the one to buy them when they 1st drop because i want to make sure they worked all the bugs out of them 1st. But I'm definitely going to get either the Xbox One or PS4. :ehh:

MS got ms disease :mjpls: they offed themselves, THEY WEREN'T READY for what Sony brought to the table in terms of gaming capability.
All they could do was add a lot of future Windows 9(which they delayed) media stuff to the box to work as a cable box :dead:. They done fukked up big time cause Sony came out with the quickness and too strong for a 2013 RELEASE, 2013 nikkas, MicroSOFT was NOT expecting that. :wow:
Plus the bad stuff they didn't have the guts to put it in the presentation :mjpls: like blocking used games and such.
